TG, I have a strong feeling everyone likes Fudge!! If they don't, just send them to the hippie store for hippie food.

I thought we sent hippies to the hippie store, for nookie and dank? but then again, who am I, to tell you, what you 'aught' to do with your hippy.

Didja ever notice that you never see Simon AND the Mitt in the same place at the same time? Coincidence? I see a resemblance here......Oh, Snap!

Simon's bright. Mitt? Well, my mother doesn't call him "Mittwit" for nothing.

But still, I want to see the MittWit's arms, check him for tats. Mittwit...yes, I agree there.

Even though Simon's bright, his socks need not all be.
If MittWit is one of Simon's socks... well... that would just make altogether too much sense, really.

I am going to be really boring and bring pasta salad with mozzarella, basil, capers and stuff.
I will probably arrive Thursday morning and maybe there is hope for the salad to be fresh and cool.

I've heard that is spectacular (the pesto) but have never made it. Maybe this weekend. First time pickling the scapes, but the garlic is a tried and true recipe that is mad addictive.

There is actually a glimmer of hope for Wednesday morning and a dying fate of a fresh salad

here's my pesto recipe. no exact amounts...just eye-ball it:

several garlic scapes
sunflower seeds (or any other nut)
olive oil
fresh basil leaves
salt and pepper

wash and trim ends off scapes. cut scapes into 1-2 in pieces. wash basil also, and rough chop leaves

load scapes and basil in food processesor. process until cut into tiny bits.

add some olive oil while slowly pulsing until u have pesto-like consistency (like a paste).

add nuts and seasonings, process.

put in glass jar in fridge. gets better with each day it sits, but it won't last long: SUPER addictive :)

(use on bread, other veggies, pasta, etc)

Assuming they're still at the farmer's market this weekend, I am all over this.

Thanks for the recipe.

Hey gang,

I need someone to help me out a little bit here.

I have a spreadsheet that has all the things that people are bringing or doing for the M&G. It is a Google spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... lpxb3dXRnc

I'm a little (lot) behind in updating it and it will only get worse from 1 August when I am on the road in the USA and unable to access the internet a whole lot.

Could I have 2 volunteers pls who are familiar with using Google spreadsheets that would be happy to take on the role of editing the spreadsheet.

Many, many thanks

Not specifically familiar with that program, but it's just a matter of filling in names on the left and pledges on the right, within the right categories, right? The only thing I'll need to figure out is how to format the headings if I need to add more, and that can't be too difficult.

I would love to be one of these two volunteers. It would give me some absolution for wasting spending so much time on here every day!
