My audiologist has me take a bath 1 1/2 hour before bed time. I said the same WTF? Has some thing to do with stress and hearing.. Going to have background sound added to my hearing aids.. guess they don't want me to hear the voices..

I suggest the same thing to people when they go on a job interview. Fresh, new clothing from the undies outward. It all helps with the whole aura of what is going on. Hot, soapy, sudsy shower---clean clothing top to bottom. It will change the whole outlook of things.

There's a possibility that the local sales rep (not the place I bought it from) will be able to find me a loaner motor. If it's not in by this weekend, then I have to drastically rearrange my birthday plans.

Thank you all for the hugs. I see Dr. Andrea Wednesday to see if cutting out the beta-blocker will increase my rate. A tech took my electrocardiograph before I left. The cardiologist sees me 12 July in Gridley.

I set up my 3 ring baby pool in the front yard and jumped into it... Hopefully it will be warmer tomorrow, I do not have a tub but only a shower. I will have my aide start doing laundry tomorrow, I have a load of whites loaded. I will have to rig a clothes line tomorrow, I do not have a dryer.

My boyfriend's car broke down today and if mine was broken still we would be up shit creak. Thanks to everyone here he is able to borrow my car until we can fix his.

I have 8 fucking weekends to get my shit together.
But..... The weekend before I leave, my son is getting married.
So, that leaves me with 7 weekends to get my fucking shit together.
But..... On one weekend I have to drive up to fucking Denver to get rid of this damn dog!
So, that leaves me with 6 weekends to get my shit together.
Which the fucking dog is keeping me from putting up my gear to check it. He gets into everything!
The next 2 weekends are for being inside because of him. So my outside stuff is going to wait til
I get back. Which leaves me with 4 weekends to do outside things.
Usually the winds are so bad, we can't do anything outside. I hope the weather holds
and the creek don't rise.........fuck!

But, I found someone in Minnesota with a working ranch that wants him. He will do

And I don't like pressing my prep time. I am usually already done and on the fucking chill train by now.

fuck. My mother has been vomiting since last night. Hospice nurse is on the way, but because "It's a fucking holiday...". Healthcare peeps take vacations, and well it's hospice... They need to fucking round up another fucking nurse. But they don't have the sense of urgency we in the old mindset of "getting better" have. Fuck. We had a few weeks where things have been good, quiet. I'm sitting in my car at work, wondering what will be.

I'm not going to Burning Man this year.

We have a family member with terminal brain cancer, and about three weeks ago she ended treatment with a prognosis of a few months. It is going to be a hard summer, and I need to be and want to be with my family. I wouldn't enjoy BM this year anyway under the circumstances.

I have known that I wasn't going for the last three weeks, but the reality hit me this week when I cancelled my plane ticket.

I was looking forward to meeting people from this board, but that is going to have to wait. I am still going to prepare this summer in some of my free time, isn't that half the fun anyways? The way I look at it there are 428 days till the man burns.

I have to wait to go to the burn next year too. You are not alone in that loss. But you're right about making projects. I found some great material for costumes that I want to work away at. Plus organizing gear is always easier to do when you don't actually have the pressure of going.

I feel like I am caught in a vortex of bad luck. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all dealing with fucked up shit. My mum just found out that it is 6 broken ribs, not four, from her accident, and two of her vertebrae have severe fractions, and her lung is till leaking and creating a pocket of air around it. She doesn't seem to be healing either and there is nothing they can do for ribs.

The yesterday my best friend's mom called me to let me know she was in emergency surgery for a hip replacement. At 29. For 6 months she has been in pain and had docs just blow her off, tell her she's fat, she's med seeking, it's in her head. She can barely walk. When she finally collapsed over the weekend and got taken to the ER they found she had been walking on the shattered tip of her femur and hip for who knows how long. She'll be in recovery and therapy for the next 3 months. I am taking her daughter in for as long as I can.

We still don't know what is wrong with my boyfriend's car or whether we can fix it.

I am tired of getting bad news. I am dreading my doc appt tomorrow morning. I need some serious retooling of my meds. I have been bedridden for 2 weeks. I am trying to fill out my SSDI capabilites form. I want to laugh and scribble all over it and tell them I am lucky I can breathe. The fuckers.

The only thing keeping me going is the kids and the thought of burning man next month. Thank you again Deanie. You've been a life saver.
