Anyone else in Davis? I know I'm not the only one here ... or at least I'm not the only one with a playa-covered car. I somehow can't bring myself to wash it just yet ...

Yes, there are quite a few of us here in Davis. I personally keep meeting more and more people. It's awesome. I haven't cleaned my van yet either. I'm still adjusting to being back. I start work again today, not sure I'm fully ready though. Have a great day!

**SO** many davis folks, yes! do you really not know any? delta of venus was closed the week of the burn so that its staff could play. i just moved out of town but could suggest places, people, events if you are really interested. are you new to davis? (or do i know you?)

Yeah, they're a bunch of Burners in Davis. Tons hang out out the Delta of Venus, and there are even parties that are loosely Burning Man Community Based.

In fact, I'm pretty sure I know who the person above me is, if she just moved out of the area (to San Francisco perhaps...)

I just moved to Davis right before Burning Man. So I really don't know any burners here, although I've met some in Sacramento.
I didn't know Delta of Venus was closed during the burn (for obvious reasons). Are there any decompression-type events going on there? Any other suggestions?

Not in Davis, but not too far off in Vacaville. Our RV is still completely dust covered and the bikes and some camping gear are still strapped to the top. We haven't quite recovered enough from our week to clean it up yet.

We should have some kind of get together.
