Wish I could- gotta work. The downside of being in "the nightlife industry": you can't really take pictures of the club that pays you if you're not there...

Meh, I heard there was no fire permitted, mostly a rave, so we stayed home.

Re: SF Precomp 2012
It wound up being a great night. I hadn't been to the venue before, in talking with Jonesy (SF regional contact and event organizer) he said the owners had just finished renovating. It was a cool space - a couple floors, a few different ways up and down, lots of little places to explore (I hope they use it in the future). They had electronic dance music in a smaller room upstairs, and live performances and bands in the two big spaces on the main floor. They also had a downstairs/outside patio space for smokers and extra porta-potties. All the nooks and crannies were perfect for putting art on display, and there was a lot of cool stuff. A number of honorarium projects had team members on hand to talk up (and solicit donations) for their projects, as well as a number of other fun things. I loved the scale model of the mayan tricycle, as well as the flower pistil that will be inside the man base.
