I think it's an indication of my job being just a little bit more boring than yours.

Doing the usual tour in reverse order. Rushing back to the source now to see what happened.
And yes, of course you are!!

OK call me cynical, but there's just something about this post. viewtopic.php?f=292&t=56135
If the camp was registered, wouldn't the leader have had an opportunity to get some tickets from BMORG?
If the post is BS, it definitely would rank right up there with one of the cleverest ploys I've seen.

We're a registered camp. We got a call from the placement team that was basically "Your camp is cool! But not cool enough for early 'guaranteed' placement... or more tickets. Good Luck!"

Ours came stapled to a packing list/PO that was printed on a FedEx sheet.

I totally agree. It was a surprise to us too. Especially cause it was a USPS guy that dropped them off.
I wonder if maybe the shipping labels/packing slip they use, just says fedex around the edge.
Its one of those deals that prints as an 8x11 sheet. Then the top half of the 8x11 peel off and is the mailing address, and the packing slip is the bottom half.

There's this thing called (something like) OnTrak, where it's mailed in a post office and delivered by a letter carrier, but the central part of the journey is done by FedEx. I dunno, maybe this is related.

They may be using FedEx Smartpost which is a combination of FedEx origin and USPS final door services.

She's a 25-year-old single woman who is ready to hit the playa with no remorse. Not even a little bit.

If there is such a thing as karma (I think not), and its effects are felt in one's current life (pretty sure that's karma-unorthodox, but it's assumed by many), I will die at BM this year, and that post will be the reason.
(I will do everything I can -- short of staying home -- to not die at BM this year, and I really hope nobody else dies there either, obviously).
