I'm pretty sure that I know the answer is "No, there's not at this time." But, I'm wondering if there is another way to see if your camp has received placement and where your placement is.
Our camp member who requested placement won't have email access until 7/17 at the earliest, and I'd like to know if our camp received the placement requested. So, I was wondering if somebody had a backdoor, or some other way to see the list, or even a contact that could tell me.

Re: 2012 placement question
When we originally filled out the placement form we had to put down a primary and a secondary contact.
Who ever was the secondary contact for your camp could try contacting the placement team and letting them know that your Primary is unavailable.
Though, I'm the secondary contact for our camp, and I've gotten calls from Placement that only asked me to get ahold of our Primary and tell them to call BMorg. They wouldn't even really talk to me because I was the Secondary.
But, its worth a shot.

Re: 2012 placement question
Well, I understand why they want to limit nagging phone calls, but...
Sooner or later, the primary for some camp will die, and wtf happens then? Submit a copy of the death certificate?

Re: 2012 placement question
I can just imagine other camp mates calling up the spouse of the deceased:
"Our deepest condolences... but, uh, sorry to bother you during your grieving, but we need to access his email so we can see where we're camped... so if you could just log in and check..."

Re: 2012 placement question
It is always a good idea to leave your passwords with friends that you trust will do the right thing if such a situation comes up.
I have not personally done this myself, so I will take this opportunity to do so....with everyone here!
(because you are all good peeps)
My password on everything I have is the same.
It is : gofuckyourselfyounosybasterds
Please take care of my personal affairs should such an occasion arise.
thanks!!

Re: 2012 placement question
If your theme camp coordinator had his/her shit together (and man you hope they do) then they added a backup email address or secondary contact, either when filling out the questionnaire or in the 2+ months since. If not, you guys have a week or so to think about why that might have been a good idea
