This is very similar to an age old form of art performance in south of India called "poikkal kuthirai" (literally translates to fake legged horses).
It has lot of variations. Multi person customes, wood legs and so on.

I was hoping to report that I got a new battery put in my watch (the only time I wear a watch is at BM) but the repair place didn't have the right battery in stock. So my one item for the day is now just I took the watch to the store to get fixed.

angels don't understand burners like devils do.
tiny stereo amp 12V dc, with subwoofer output., and USB charger out... for the mp3/flashdrive/sd card player I have. aha! Not a good amp, but size counts for something, and devil knows I've accumulated a few low pass crossovers. all go for the plastic bucket dvc sub.

hahahah "the only time I wear a watch is at BM" the opposite of most people I'd guess!

Today I opened up the EZ-UP and worked out a way to use the shade cloth from our super complicated/large awning on it instead. It will work GREAT so lighter load, easier/quicker set up and SHADE!

Sewed pockets on my plays coat. Only have one more horn to attach and it will be done! Got my tent back from my mom's that I left over there. Finished my Apacoliptica skirt to now that I got my buckels. Will post a pic later.

Tonight we bought visibility stuff: Surveyor's tape for guylines, solar lights for where they meet the ground, a camp lantern (which converts into 4 clipable lights), and some LED glowstick-type things.

After getting some work done on the deli counter today, I remembered to get my orders in for supplies for the rubber stamps I want to make and bring to the playa. Bunch of handles/stampers, a couple sheets of rubber, a few different colored stamp pads and some refill inks.

No, I have a camp mate coming up later to resupply me, and notice I said good bourbon.That's not for everyday use.

Changed my engine oil, coolant, spark plugs, rear differential gear oil, brake fluid and installed new CV shafts / transaxles.

Woot woot. Found a site where I can get 48 rayovac batteries for $13.47 with shipping. Does anyone have any exsperance with these. They claim they last as long as Duracell. Do you think so? If so Im all over it. Need quite a few AA's and this is one of the last things I need to get or if some one knows where I can get good quality batteries in a 48 pack or more for a good price please PM me. I have to power a s9000 fuji, flip video camera, el wire ( have to get that today) and a string of LED lights.

I do have access to one yes. I do have the rayovac charger as well. Found an 8 count of the Rechargeable NiMH AA for the same price. I already have 2 of the AA batteries.Is this a better option you think? If so buying today. Need to finish up the odds and ends of purchases so I can start buying booze and food.

Not really for the burn but it's hard to get very far without plates so I guess they kind of are...

Today I designated an appropriate pee bottle. Detergent bottles rule! I like their opacity.

. . . No one's fooled into thinking that I'm wandering down to the JOTS to launder some lacey unmentionables, but I just don't need the whole world knowing how exactly how well my hydration efforts are going . . .
