Look at that, a more balanced article in the SF Bay Guardian. "Burning Man takes anti-scalper and traffic control measures as tickets arrive" Check it out.

Can't get it to open at all....
Worry is a misuse of imagination

She had blue skin, And so did he.
He kept it hid And so did she.
They searched for blue Their whole life through,
Then passed right by- And never knew.”

Steven Jones didn't plug his Burning Man book in the article even once? Inconceivable. Must have been ghostwritten.

UPDATE: Ah, he linked to his book in the article. Whew! That was close.

It was a slow page-load for me, delle - you might need to refresh/reload.

Good catch! I wondered how he got through an entire article without mentioning it.

Whoa, whoa, hold on a second.

"As an additional measure, BRC will be moving up the final official event of the week – the burning of the Temple on the last Sunday night (Sept. 2) – from 9 pm to dusk to facilitate more people hitting the road that night."

Eh..er... Um, a sunset during the temple burn instead of a solid beacon of fire lighting up the dark? Not sure if better or worse or neutral. Either way, I can see the reasoning for it... Kind of sad, but I can see why.

Yeah, the temple ceremonies will begin as the sun goes over the mountains (or possibly just after… playa time and all).
