Freakbeat Top 10? What were "the hits/anthems?"

Post by digitalstruggle » Sun Sep 26, 2004 11:57 am

Hey there folks ... had such an amazing time dancing with the whole freakbeat/breakbeat crowd at BM this year. Particularly at El Circo ... what an amazing atmosphere.

Lorin, Tree, Tipper, Adam Ohana ... wow

So what were the breakbeat "hits" or Burning Man "anthems" this year? I'd like the names of these tracks so I can find them and trigger some memories!

"Shut the fuck up! It's five fucking o' clock in the morning, fer Christ's sake!!!" was one of my favorites...

Oh yeah, oh yeah

Oh yeah ... one track in particular ... it starts off with some diva(argh) vocals ... sounds like it's going to be terrible ... one of those "well, if it's going to just be this kinda stuff for a while, i will stick it out for one more song and leave songs" then comes like the most badass nu-school breaks change ever and eventually gets sorta tired and back to the cheesiness.

The lyrics are something like ... ok, ready? "i got love deep in my soul ... i got love that's making me roll" or something like that. honestly ... it sounds like crap, but i just want to hear that one part of the song. maybe it'll show up on Ministry of Sound's Burning Man '04 2CD mix or Pete Tong's Black Rock City Essential Mix 2004 or something.
