Started to replace the struts on the KIAmonster and the strut end sway bar link rear wrench flats rounded off like a marble!
Now I need to get gas for the cutting torch, burn 'em off, and replace 'em! They kind of needed replacing anyway but a big gooey FUCK is indicated anyhow.

Replaced the fucking throttle position sensor and then the mass air flow sensor went two tits into the wind. *fuck*

When I'm done she's gonna be one smooth bitch but until that time, FUCK.

Well fuck it all. In about 2 weeks I will not have a place to stay. So I am going to have to prep my car for living in. Fortunately it is a windstar and I can throw out the back seats and put a mattress in for sleeping. Don't know where I will park for the night each night. The only (relatively) cheap camping is about a 2 hr drive from work.

I knew a guy who camped at Walmart lots for several months. I hope this is just temporary for you though, and that you'll be getting another place fucking sooner than later.

Have you considered driving around your work area and looking for "room for rent" signs?
And making up a bunch of little "looking for a room to rent" notices to put in grocery stores and the like in that area?

You may also want to consider calling local hospitals. They often have lists of people who rent out rooms quite cheaply to those needing a place to sleep to be close to family members on long stays in the hospital. Some will consider outside those criteria.

A 2hr drive definitely throws (relatively) cheap into fucking expensive, and sleeping in your car doesn't bode well for being well rested (or very clean) for you day's work, no matter where you land it for the night.

If I wasn't so fucking far away, I'd offer you a room here.

My brother made CharityGoal.com which is a bit like Kickstarter except you don't need to attain your goal to collect money (e.g. campaigns are date-based more than they are dollar-based ... something like that, anyway ... read the website about it.)

Regarding the lack of fanboys saving the day, I imagine that the confusion (apparently people didn't know what was going on, at first; they thought it was part of the opening-night hijinx, or that it was loud sound-effects from the next theatre) and the tear gas (adding to the confusion and also incapacitating people) probably contributed to that. That , plus a certain, human, faltering of courage that can happen even to good, brave people in life-or-death situations. Plus the whole thing probably lasted only a few minutes.

Still, it is hard to process these horrible things. I'm right there with you, trying to process the TWO mass shootings that have happened in my city in the past two months, both of them the result of gang-related gunfights between people with no aim.
