Thanks! we love playing for the BM crowd! We had a fantastic time, especially at the pancake breakfast, Sunday. but we probably won't be back to BRC due to issues with BM Rangers...and bigger fish to fry

I've started a campaign to get us Pyromidians on the Guca tip. At this point it seems the most appealing to me of all the things I've been looking at event wise next summer. That and being a Pink Martini groupie for their European summer tour. No tents, no playa dust. Sounds good to me.

I saw you beautiful Marching Peeple at Dee-comps and I think Flambe Island. D-6 told me about yer S@bb@th set and I got weak in the knees and almost passed out from excitement! METAL! METAL! METAL!

My favorite time was being in the middle of you all while you were playing. So much good happy pure joy energy. If you don't laugh while standing in the midst of the Extra Action Marching Band then you aint alive babee. LOVE YOU LOVE YOU LOVE YOU!

This is what's distinctly unique to BM: that pictures like this are rare, and unaccceptable in the eyes of a Community member. Call me a bleeding-heart hippie, but if someone's curled up like this (unless it's performance art of course) than someone should be giving him help. before we start getting holier than thou, let's look at a couple of things.

first off, this festival is held in Guca, Serbia, where is it a balmy 80-100 degrees fahrenheit. unlike burning man this person will only be hurting from a massive hangover, which is cured by one shot of rakia and a spoon full of honey. Unlike burning man, he will not go to the bring of dehydration and third degree burns.

secondly the homemade plum brandy packs a wild punch, not to mention the 2 liter plastic bottles of beer that only cost about 2 american dollars.

thirdly sleeping on the street during this festival is not really a "bad" thing, it usually means that you were either too tired/drunk to make it back to your tent, or that this spot looked just fine for a much needed disco nap. this is actually much like sleeping in center camp with out the comfy couches, but when you're that tired/drunk, who needs a comfy couch. RAKIA!!!

but if you want to talk about violence and pain in the context of Serbia, then you needn't look to far. For example:

This is Belgrade (the closest large city to Guca). It was a TV Station building, and as you can see, it was hit by one of those guided missles that our lovely US tax dollars pay for. or if you attend this festival, you will notice an unusual number of people with a missing a limb curtiosy of the US and NATO activities in the regine.

so yes, you are right I don't think you'll see pictures like this from burning man, but then again, Nevada hasn't been through a civil war where a few super power countries came in and started blowing things up and hanging out weapons in the name of peace and "stability"

however, i reject the BHH (bleedinghearthippie) flatulence (picking up lighter instead of dictionary), and say:
