No, probably not.
However:

I had a witty response involving limnologists, but then I figured I was being too littoral...

i poped in to see whats been going on the last few months, thought oh that thread souns interesting and now i am just confused. I have looked up what riparian means which didnt help. obviously i have gained several stupid points in the last few months

Obviously, I am not reassuring enough. Will someone, possibly Mel or MDF or AntiM, please explain to grai that there is no vocabulary quiz to get onto the playa, and that I just do the mock thread thing at the drop of a hat.
