Thanks for the report - I nearly bought some of this to try after the failed Cumin Chick Pea Expedition of '12.Savannah wrote:...Minute Rice needs to be cooked...

Just stepped out to get Champagne, Sprite and Gatorade.

I just go to 99 Ranch and buy packs of the big seaweed sheets. Way cheaper. I saw the same thing in Safeway, packaged differently, for $4.00. At 99 Ranch, I can get six or more times the same net weight for the same price.
Once you get used to the taste of seaweed, it sort of has the same appeal as bacon...

Especially the Korean seaweed, with the seasame oil and salt!

Re: One Item for BM a Day
sold an iphone 4 on ebay, along with one of my old droid phones.
the iphone was in parts, and i originally planned on putting it back together before selling it but time constraints and working 3 jobs did not allow that to take place.
selling both of the phones has paid for everything i have purchased so far, so equilibrium, i has it (except for when i stubbed my toe the other night and...all those other times)
budgeting out all my payments this month a few days ahead of schedule so i can have as much of a stress free mind as possible (i'm an optimistic one aren't i?) once on the ground in california, scrambling to see as many friends as possible, getting everything together before we take off.
the last 'big' thing i need to make room for is the truck rental, and that's just a matter of making a decent payment on the credit card.
borrowing my roommates flask for the journey.
have i mentioned how excited I am? I leave in 20 days.

Personally, combat boots are so much hotter than jackboots!Foxfur wrote:I thought you said Jackboots and got all excited. The one I picked up is like this except looks a little worn out. And I got it for like 20 bucks!
(Side note: Foxfur, I might have some hello kitty tape (not sure if its duct tape). I bought them last year and I might have to dig it out of basement. But if you would like it...)

I baked another dozen chicken quarters today. ( well, the oven did.) My aide could not come today because she wanted to stay with another client ( while she had IV therapy at the cancer center). Yesterday she made me some spicy BBQ pulled pork for sloppy joes. On Tuesday she made me a Sheppard's pie. Mein Gott, that woman can cook! Asking for help was hard for me, but I am glad now for doing it.
Re: One Item for BM a Day
Took the cargo van into town and to a friends to measure and draw plans for the bed platform. Went to the wood store to make sure I can afford such an endeavor. Wood is pricey these days! Wow. The good news is - it looks like the entire purchase will fit onto my gift card I have been saving for a such a use!
Besides the bed platform upgrade, I hope to get a new stereo installed with an aux jack for an iPod. That will have to be another day...

All the battery operated items have fresh batteries. The bike was wrapped with lights this morning. Dang it's getting close.
