The bar is still animating...!?
But with Firefox the internal box is "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.... could be temporarily unavailable...".
Don't dare hit refresh.

That's one word I regret googling during breakfast.

Video games are giving kids unrealistic expectations on how many swords they can carry.

, but don't harm the red dragon that frequents the area from time to time. He and I have an agreement.

Maybe it's tied to IP, not to the page...mothertruck wrote:haha I've been hitting refresh, I'm screwed I guess

Re: Who snagged the last 1,000 tickets?
question!! possibly silly.
(for a friend, I have my ticket)
does anybody know if you have to use a credit card in your name to purchase your ticket?
(of course, friend registered August 1st under the correct name, but does not have a credit card. friend is in queue like all y'all)
thanks <3

Good luck to all those trying. I don't even need a ticket yet I'm still holding my breath for the first "success" story.

At least I went to the bathroom first, and I have a bottle of electrolyte beside me. Now I need snacks!

Re: Who snagged the last 1,000 tickets?
Yea this kinda sucks.. I got the same error on the page, no way to know if the page has timed out and were just watching a looping animation that won't do anything..
Re: Who snagged the last 1,000 tickets?
no one on here has gotten through yet!? ill take that as a good sign overall. probably bad for the network running this.

Re: Who snagged the last 1,000 tickets?
my guess is if it stops loading, nothing is happening, so load another page and keep the old one if u want just in case.moonelf wrote:Yea this kinda sucks.. I got the same error on the page, no way to know if the page has timed out and were just watching a looping animation that won't do anything..
Loading is different than the bar animation.

Re: Who snagged the last 1,000 tickets?
Some good news. After several "retry"s within the timed-out box in the middle, I got it filed in with
I did NOT refresh the page.
sigh...
Now after 20 or 30 seconds, that box has gone blank. You are in the queue for the Limited Sale. Tickets are first-come, first-served. If demand is high you may not get to buy a ticket. This page will redirect you to the ticket buy page if there are still tickets available when your turn in line is reached. Thank you for your patience.
I did NOT refresh the page.

I'm hearing that people are getting through, though I don't yet know the rate that they're selling through. I'll post what I can as I get word.

TICKET ACQUIRED!!!! I'M COMING HOME!!!
Re: Who snagged the last 1,000 tickets?
I've noticed that the tab for the page shows it's running some code around every 15 seconds. I suspect that it's checking for queue position. I didn't notice if this was also happening before I got past the timed-out box in the middle.moonelf wrote:Yea this kinda sucks.. We're just going to have to sit it out and see what happens.
In Firefox, the mouse wouldn't scroll the box in the middle down to the "retry" click-box. I clicked in the middle of the message, then used the keyboard <down arrow> to see the full message and get to the "retry" click-box.
Good luck!
