Hi everyone!

Sacred Spaces Village is joining the 2 and 10 sector on the 10:00 side in the new 10:00 portal at 9:45 and Edelweiss.

We have a boom lift reserved and are looking for other camps to go in it. With dustworks falling out.. we were pretty slammed but managed to get one..only we can't afford it for the whole time and don't need it for the whole time..

We're hoping many of you are also looking for a boom lift for a few hours that might be willing to go in on it..

We have a trained operator if you need that as well.

Does anyone know what happened to El Circo? Saddens me. They occasionally perform at other events (LIB), but good luck finding any info about them on the interwebs - their site is stuck in 2008.

And Bass Camp - was there some drama I missed? Why aren't they coming back?

Nexus is back! - I thought last year was their "last"...

Hoping for some good beats this year! The last couple of years were a bit disappointing, IMHO...

Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out the name of the camp that was located at 10:00 and F, they had the really cool lasers that covered the sky at night. We tried looking at the moop map but the resolution is too low to make out the letters. Thanks for any help!

I've got the map issued at Greeter's, and it's admittedly not much help. (There are about 200 camps listed on one side, directory-style alphabetically, and a massive map with only the largest and longest-established camps on the other side).

Sacred Spaces Village (http://www.sacredspacesvillage.org) is the closest easily discerned camp to that area (9:40-9:45, block to block from E through G). Maybe a representative from that camp remembers who their neighbors between 9:45 and 10:00 were. But that amount of space would fit many, many neighbors.

Can you make out the first letter of the camp on the low-res map you're looking at? I might be able to narrow it down from that. There's only 10-20 camps per first letter.

You could also see if playainfo at burningman dot com has a detailed map. Placement would also a detailed map. I don't know if either entity would be happy with me directing traffic their way, however. (Playa Info is busy trying to reunite cameras and passports with their owners before mid-January, and referrals and reminders are not really what Placement provides.)

Sorry Savannah, I was at work, on my phone and somehow didn't see your great post first when I was replying to Crypto's. Thank you for your help, you're an amazing admin and I appreciate all you do on here to help out others .

Yes, perfect! Camp Overkill is what it said. Wow, which map did you get that from? I'd really be grateful for a link, that is about 100x clearer than the other moop maps I've seen posted on the Burning Blog.

The latest map I could find is from Nov. 1st and looks like this http://blog.burningman.com/wp-content/u ... -DAY-7.gif There is no way I could make out the letters on that one well enough to distinguish it for sure, and I tried looking on the list of theme camps here http://www.burningman.com/themecamps/th ... ci=C&m=659 because I thought it said Camp "Something that starts with an O or a C" but Camp Overkill isn't listed on there.

The reason I was asking is because Camp Overkill was directly behind our camp, and I never made it over to thank them personally (that's a longer, different story) but I wanted to contact them and thank them for putting on such a great show directly over our camp. It also made for some sweet pictures of my camp with their lasers lighting up the sky.

The last time I saw that version was actually on the Playa; ESD has one with that level of detail. Playa Info also surely does.

Only Placement's version can be any better (because it's got any last-minute changes on it).
