Welcome goddessmother, sounds like you're off to a good start.

Re-purpled my new short hair. Hope to finish boat costume # 4 in the next half hour.

How much taller does it need to be? You can get a bit more height just by planting the feet closer to the center line.

I was up all night sewing, grrr... so now i have a couple more things "mostly finished." Need to get more things actually finished!!!

Busy weekend: re-dyed the parachute. Texas sun has faded it a bit.
Did all the little finishing details on one of Ken's jacket/vest sets. Need to make one more dickey. Need to do finishing details on second jacket/vest set.
Took down all PVC from the monkeyhuts, loaded on truck.
Bought non-perishable food. Marveled that I actually eat that crap on playa. I'd never eat that in defaultia. But, these are plan b foods, that turn into plan A foods because I really don't want to spend my time cooking.
Finished sorting and packing costumes.
Spent Saturday night in the trailer seeing if the bed is going to kill Ken's back, but it will work just fine.
Picked all the stickers out of the North Pole Shade Structure and got it packed up for Angela.
Somehow I ended up with a new Kitten. She's a girl but has someone ended up being named Harold. I know that's not really prep, but she's cute.

Finished bikes. Finished furniture. Finished shade structure. Finished costumes.

Sat back and began panicking on how the hell I will be able to fit all of this in the truck and trailer.

Going to TRY to finish the sewing I have left today if not today and Tuesday.
Going to go to fuckmart and pic up a few tank tops and a pair of flippy flops today at some point. If that all happens all I have left to do is finish the el wire and I will be all done, packed and ready to go!

Does finishing writing the "welcome letter" for camp mates count if I didn't send it?

tamarakay, is it the size of the trailer bed or the mattress? If it's the mattress you might want to do what we did...and add a memory foam pad on top. We got ours at Costfro...I assume they still have them. I hear you on the canned food thing and of course we'll all eat less than usual anyway.

NEW KITTEN!!!! ;-)

Lazerfox: YES, it still counts, but I bet they'll be relieved to get the info.

Me: Sewing, sewing, SEWING!!! Four boat costumes down, six more to go.

Picked up 43 unscreened teeshirts @ Goodwill.
Will be stenciling them with Keep Burning Man Potentially Fatal and Burn Shit.
Also found a large pack frame to strap a 5 gallon propane tank on and take the flamethrower for long walks on the beach.
Bought 500 more stainless steel bolts for decorating the truck. Should be done at around 1,200...

I'm doing little snacky din-din things at least once for a work day. I got four flavors. I think I should go back and get some more next Monday. (Farmer's Market--won't be there until then...)
