Our RZ masks and spare filters have arrived.

I prefer regular fabric / bandannas, but wanted a heavier duty backup since I suspect the dust will be intense this year. Plus they have some really cool designs.

DAB I almost ordered one of those but was concerned about the strong neoprene smell. Is it very strong to you?

T-shirt coveters:
I will be at 4:15 & A in the Black Rock Army / Espresso Camp. Come by for a visit! Bring a shirt and we can paint it. No shirt? No problem.
I plan to leave the stencils available if I'm not there...

First firing of the pants just now. Starting matching top today. Yes, there's a panel out from a popped wire while flipping them inside out to do the wiring and yes.. the velcro on the crotch and a couple other things.. but I couldn't wait..

It doesn't smell strong to me, but then I have a poor sense of smell due to decades of smoking.

Keep in mind that you are breathing in through a carbon filter when wearing it which removes most odors.

It wouldn't be a Junglesmacks video without the daft giggling at the end.

. . . Seriously, I was going to be disappointed if there wasn't any.

I am betting 10 bucks that he is going to walk while staring at his pants and take a trip to the ground once or twice.

he is an expert! I saw him from like 5 miles away in the middle of the night and he walked just fine. I couldn't get close though since I didn't have my "sun" glasses with me 8)

Will have to dig out my welders goggles to keep from being blinded by JS.

Nice work.

..of course the final inspection will still be needed but the worrying about whether the permit application got lost in the mail is over.

Thanks for your application to serve food at Burning Man. Your application has been approved and instructions on picking up your permit at Playa Info have been sent out to you in the mail.

The sound effects are pretty boss as well.

'Here we go.. Boooowoooooop, swoooooooowowoooosowoooooooo..'

It's kind of like turrets but there's a sort of rational explanation for it, because you're making the sound the thing looks like it's making. That's my excuse anyway.

Someone dropped a nicely folded blue tarp off the boardwalk stairs I walk up each morning for work. I put in the 30 seconds of work to climb over the railing and down to it, and now I have a new tarp. :D

Careful of blue tarps!!!

Built a monkey hut over the dogs house for some extra shade.

In 2 days it shreaded into moopy blue streamers.

Put a silver tarp on it and it's been up for 2 and a half months with no issues.

More trouble than their worth IMHO. 8)

I don't think it's BLUE tarps specifically...more like CHEAP tarps. Which are often blue...but you could find a nice durable blue tarp.

Oh it will be used to cover up the kitchen table, or storage totes, nothing big. Or the tent, if god forbid it rains. I have a huge tarp of aluminet for my camp shade. In my experience, blue tarps make it a greenhouse underneath.

Got a root canal yesterday. Hurts like hell now, but I won't have to worry about it on the playa.

Washed and bagged 90% of my clothing, so I'll be done with that by the weekend.

And have made a ton of progress on the "moop" for my trash fence. I'll post a full update in that thread, but per Savannah's suggestion, I made some band aids for it:
