Sorted my socks, bras and underwear. Three of my most comfy, colorful bras are in the laundry. Black, red, blue, orange, turquoise, purple and a couple grey bras; bringing only my brightly colored print granny panties... hurray for Lane Bryant. I do own white bras which I rarely wear, but not a single pair of white underpants. Not one. No plain white socks either. Once I was old enough to buy my own underthings, white was out of my drawers forever.

Been distracted but trying to keep things rolling. moved to Oakland over the weekend, picked up a nice pendant at Prepare for the Playa, sent comforting preparatory e-mail to our group's burgins to ease anxiety, ordered a pod belt, thought up more ideas, coordinated with my team to make sure things are going to be ready.

Hey all! Picked up a garden sprayer/playa shower 1.5 gallons for $9.00 today at the tractor supply store. My fiance got a new green bandana to add to our growing collection. He also picked up a 3rd tarp yesterday.

Went to MEC and bought a trunk for my bike rack that was on clearance. I now have something sturdy to hold my battery/inverter, as well as a bunch of other stuff if I want to go out for a ride without my backpack. Also got a 3 pack of mini sporks, because Mr. Fufa broke one when he tried to use it to eat crocodile.

The chalkboards for the deli arrived today, along with some of the chalk I think. I grabbed a few more flip top bins as well as some mixers. Work-wise I finally got a full load of stuff from storage to the dump, which not only makes our storage space more navigable but makes room for us to offload some of the stuff in the loft so we've got more breathing room (and space for the final projects). Then I got all the bins (today's acquisitions plus some different-sized bins we picked up the other day) stenciled and sprayed my bike decoration parts with clear-coat.

I made some bee antenna today out of a wire coat-hanger and 2 ping-pong balls. Now looking for yellow and black striped stuff. Have stinger, will travel. Killer bees beware!

Drove my gas buggy off the trailer today. My homemade ramps work great. I may have to change the muffler, it sounds like a chainsaw. And it is popping, need to get some fresh 4 buck gas and 2 stroke oil in her...Checking all tire pressures tomorrow.

I put another batch of BBQ pork in the freezer today. Next week I'll cook and make 2 turkeys into BBQ also. I think I will get burger buns and share sloppy joes on playa. Turkey or pork, and i have some plain chicken also.
