Serious at Burning Man HQ is reporting that GeoEye's GE1 Satellite will do a capture over BRC starting at *precisely* 11:45:40 on Friday August 31st. Spread the word!

If you do go out in the street, stand still and spread out something large and bright/light colored. Our neighbors one year waved a flag, but the movement won't show. We can spot our camp because of the configuration and light colors or the carports, but not individuals.

The time was actually listed in 24-hr notation. If it was PM they would have listed 23:45:40
