Virgin Burner from Tokyo, Japan

Hi Everyone!

I am a virgin burner living in Tokyo, Japan. I am trying to make it out to burning man as smooth as possible, but it is proving difficult because of my current living situation. There are not many burners in Japan, and I have decided to fly over alone this year. Luckily I can speak English, so I am trying my best to reach out for help. I was introduced to the burner culture about a year ago, fascinated, and now trying to spread the love for art. I am a massage therapist, tea enthusiast, yogi, poi spinner and flutist. I am flying into San Francisco and then taking a bus up to BRC. I do not have a lot of supplies other than my hands, a yoga mat, some tea, poi, and instruments. I am looking for people that are willing to take me in and allow me to contribute and participate in the experience. I am 25, male, half-Japanese and half Welsch-blood sexy boy raised in America.

I'm looking for people to interact with online to make my trip as epic as possible. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the playa!

I'm not sure if this will be helpful, but there is a group of Japanese citizens who camp with the Playawaste Raiders every year. You can find their thread under the 2012 Theme Camp subforum. The people posting there will be the American contingent, but maybe they can be helpful. Otherwise, The Barbie Death Village and Wine Bistro does take in a lot of overseas strays.

Be unafraid to write as many as possible and hurry. People are on their final preparations.
And there's always the fact that wherever you camp, you are likely to find people who will be good neighbors and help you out with pitching a tent or giving you cocktails.
