Just FYI Alexamonkey, you can multi-quote messages by hitting reply and then in the reply composition page clicking the quote buttons in the scrolling topic review at the bottom. That way you don't need 4-5 separate replies in a row to reply to multiple posts.

You know, that's a much more elegant solution than what I was doing: Start a reply with a quote. Select all and copy. Go back. Start another reply with another quote. Paste in the first quote. Repeat as needed...

I hate that they have to be so rigid, but with the number of people on the playa now, and the concerns they have keep a good relationship with the BLM. The event of 17 years ago is gone. I'm experiencing my pre-playa freak outs and panics and I'm oddly emotional, too. But I think that you might be driving some reactions from your wording. It's a little melodramatic, maybe. Maybe a walk and some deep breathing? Maybe cut the llc a little slack, because they have to be the buffer between the free form world of burners and the constant scrutiny of the various involved governmental agencies and the press.

Thanks for your words- as always, things seem screwed, & then next thing I know, it's all handled. Our replacements are coming out of the woodwork- it is all coming together beautifully. Thank you for pointing out to me my "mellodramaticness" (ok- I can't spell, so shoot me). I lost 7 key people in the last year, and although I have had a LOT of step-ups, I have basically been doing 7 people's jobs. Still there is a Phoenix in the ashes, & things are all coming together as they should, as always, forever. It's:... (what I consider 'appropriate and healthy dose of paranoia" ) that makes me able to accomplish this, & (although, I must admit, u & u'r snarkyness have annoyed me in the past) I appreciate u & u'r attitude right now, more than u know! Trilo is a person who you can take for face value. No tap dancing and no back stabbing. He will be straight forward and honest with you. If you want lots of tap dancing and sugar coating, he ain't the one.

6 PM at Barbie Death Camp And Wine Bistro, Doc Pyro presiding. Location 4:00 And E. It's for all ePlaya participants, such as us. Bring food and drink to share if you can. Everybody wears name tags, so we can put faces to names. They have a real piano, I'm told. They have a thread under Theme Camps.
At a little before 9:00 they/we will caravan to the CORE Burn. Don't know if we are expected to return to Barbie Camp after that.
