Solar panel cord ID

I recently acquired my first solar panel and I'm way excited to see the thing in action. It's a 90w Sunpower panel and I'm not sure what type of fittings are on the end of the pos/neg cords that extend out of the back. I'm new to the whole solar thing, but quickly trying to learn the ropes. I thought that the wires were fitted with mc4 connectors, but I was unable to affix them to other mc4 cables.

I got the panel from a craig's list trade and the owner didn't know much about the panel. Can someone please help me ID what type of connectors/cables I'm working with here?

It just looks like some waterproof housing.

Check mcmaster carr and I'm sure they carry it.

i cut the stock ends off my solar power and put a ring connector that hooks on the terminals of my charge controller - works great

As the previous post said, it's easy to replace it with any connector of your choice. Just make sure you get the polarity right and that it's rated for at least 8 amps (assuming your panel is 12V).

don't cut them off
get an mc3 and cut in half
