electric violin musician??
electric violin musician??
hello all,
i had the extreme pleasure of happening upon a woman who was playing the electric violin with some electronic beats in the background one night at the place that has the merry-go-round type horses. i think she said she hailed from boston. i was wondering if anyone knew who she was so i could check her out in my stomping grounds.
be well!

What was the moving horse art that they were preforming on?
Anyone know of a photo of this on the web?
They were fantastic!

Violinist and carousel pics
The carousel is named "A Cavallo" and I've been doing a photo documentary of the project for the last many months. It was built in Brooklyn, NYC by artist Quill Hyde and driven cross-country to the playa -- good times!
Here are my photos of the carousel project:

And here's a photo of the electric violinist:

...what an amazing performance, pure magic
Cheers,
Heather

tilt-a-whirl car
That guy with the remote controlled Tilt-a-Whirl car was camped across the street from me! They had a fully "interactive" Bop It game too, which was hilarious:

I enjoyed a great performance at A Cavallo some night towards the middle or end of the week, who can say... The music was very soulful and the movement slow and sensual. A perfect moment in time.

I have been trying to find out who they are for the longest time. Anyone know? It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced.
