As a Newbie, where's the best place to stand between Reno and Black Rock with a "ticket for sale" sign in hand?

Stranded with 1 physical ticket to sell here in the East Bay.

I might park the car near Newcastle with a sign in hand. Probably won't make it to Nixon.
