I still have the birth painting, the pinky red one with the placenta and fetus. I still don't know if I should add milky veins.
Very exciting, got a package from Paul with a wonderful selection of his mounted photos and photo essays. He does such meticulous work, and has such a depth of knowledge. Love them all.

A second box of Incredible Amazing Art from Ancient Burner! I've already chosen an Orphan Print Collage for the Private Collection.

Re: Anti M's Home for Wayward Art
I've decided that all the half-assed potential art fodder in the house is being made, mounted or turned into art somehow in the next three weeks. I know I won't get my bus model done, but that's not for adoption anyway. I was given one HUGE canvas, which may become something new for me. But otherwise, much of this stuff is becoming art, and going to be given away! Junk frames, matte boards, piles of collage clippings, catalogs, postcards, old books, posters ... all art. Even painter palettes will become art pieces.
Be sure you adopt art this year! Clean the Home out to the bare chickenwire!

Ugh, progress comes and goes in fits and starts... but still making art!
More terrific photo pieces from Ancient Burner. For someone who is not able to attend this year, he really is contributing a lot of love and creativity!

Counted all the art adoption cards from 2011, 479! That means we moved 500 pieces at least. Wow.

Re: Anti M's Home for Wayward Art
Howdy... the art cards are still packed, but I stuffed the blue recipe box to the brim with completed cards. I took out 500 blanks and a handful from last year. Didn't use them all, which means I moved 450+ pieces of art, give or take. I still have quite a bit to repurpose, and I found a small bag of my paintings which fell between two bins. Whoohoo, a head start for next year!
I'd like to thank my many contributors and supporters and adopters of new art.

Re: Anti M's Home for Wayward Art
will the home for wayward art be a thing again next year?
We were camped down the road this year and made it a daily trek to have a look at what was on show, and I have a little pink plastic duck rattle that I got that I keep in a jar of playa dust on my desk at work. I also may or may not have taken a t-shirt that I made into a cushion cover for my couch, as it was way to small.
Would love to leave some bits and pieces next year!

Re: Anti M's Home for Wayward Art
It will be in Hushville next year. It will be in the guide, I think.
And past that, AntiM, like most of us, is at the mercy of the placers.

Update on a secret mission from 2012...
AntiM, The brightly colored Parrot you asked me to have burned (the really weird one)...well I put it exacty where we discussed and of all things when I went to the Reno decompression it was prominently displayed at Pappy's Bait Shop on The Pier!! I gasped when I saw it! I'm sorry to say but I think that parrot is going to haunt us forever! Look for it next burn...it's out there, somewhere...

Re: Anti M's Home for Wayward Art
Catching up...
The parrot found a place! Yay. A Fishy donation from several years ago.
The duck rattle is also a Fishy find, mounted on a candle holder. Rather precariously, f it falls apart, just put it back together anyway you can.
The t-shirt was supposed to be a regular size, but it was a youth short. A cushion sounds like a fine idea, it is what I do with my too old too small shirts.
I have a painting finished for 2013 already, and two on the easel, and a couple prepped for painting. I didn't clear the "art studio" know as my kitchen table for Halloween decorating, so I paint and fiddle with what I have not put away. I need to get into the art boxes and clean up the leftovers. I did get most of the cards into an album, and the cards from 2011. Some years I don't bring the library of cards from the past.
