Since I may have to gift two tickets at the gate if someone doesn't buy them, thanks for this post since I may want to hear all of the reasons prior so I can see if the people roaming around will call begging can do better!

Last year, on Saturday, two new people showed up tucked in between our camp and the one next door. I went up to talk to them, and they were not going to go because the wife was 3 months pregnant and their doctor advised against it. Wednesday of burn week, they were gifted two tickets, and the doctor said going for the weekend should be fine. Now they only came from LA, but that's still a hike.
They were just sitting in chairs under a big umbrella with beer & sodas and shit-eating grins.

Now then, if you had a ticket with a face value of "Gift", how would you select a person to give this to?
When you pass something on as a gift why do it with conditions?
