More info if ya need it: The Burning Opera was scored by Mark Nichols and written by counterculture author Erik Davis, and survived three sold-out runs in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Our aim with the show was to explore the joys, conflicts, and paradoxes of Burning Man, from its tangled origins to its ongoing mutation.
