FUCK!!!

I made it a whole 14 miles to the burn and the engine made a clunk bang then died.
Had to have it, and the trailer, towed home, $240. Fuck.

I pulled 2 error codes with my scanner.
Mass airflow sensor signal low and camshaft sensor range error.
I tested the MAF with a meter and the bridge resistance is an order of magnitude beyond normal specs.
Haven't fucked with the fucking cam sensor yet.
I replaced the fucking MAF last month. The part has a 6 month warranty though. Good fucking thing, but, it can take up to a few days for the part to come in...

Today's not been good. I was gonna pull out at noon and did a quick check of the trailer tail lights. No fuckin workee! Literally had to tear out everything to remove the side benches to troubleshoot the wiring. It was so fucked up I had to run all new wire and install new tail light units. I went with fucking LED units cause thoem fuckers are bright and last forever.

When I was cutting some steel to make mounting brackets for 'em I got bit by yellow jackets THREE fucking times.

Fuck all that shit!

I'd never seen a tow truck tow a vehicle and its trailer at the same time. The driver showed me a photo on his phone of when he towed a Ford F-450 crew cab longbed with a 38 foot trailer behind it!!!

But my fuck isn't nearly as bad as yours. Ive limped onto the playa, figuring I'd deal with the issue once the burn was over. Actually, that year the van started acting up 10 miles from home. I figured if I had to, I'd put on the blinkers and drive up at 35 mph, the speed at which the shuddering in the steering wheel started. But it was an intermittent problem and cleared up. I only had to pull over a few times (twice on 447) to try got get to to stop. but it started up in empire and I putzed in at 30 mph from there.

I've poured a cup or two of gasoline in underground wasp burrows, wonder if a rag soaked in gas or turpentine would work if you put a bucket over the hole. Also used mint oil + detergent + water in a spray bottle for wasps crowding around on fallen apples & pears. Good hunting.

It's doesn't sound like your MAP sensor - (that sits next to the air filter and tells the ECM air flow/temp) NOPE, dont waste your $$$$$ on a new sensor (even unplugged your engine will still run on default settings BUT not as well)

Fucking good news and fucking bad news. Bad water pump was putting out steam which was melting off crud and oil from outside engine. Steam not smoke. hot engine was burning oil but I was ahead of loss , I would not have made it through the Feather River Canyon on Highway 70. I was fucking lucky to have the CHP stop me... Car might be fixed Wednesday, so I still have a chance for delayed entry...

Fuck! It feels so un-natural checking out eplaya during the burn. First skipped burn after going the last 4 years. This fucking sucks And I gots to work this weekend and can't even have a fucking orphan burn.
