New joint doesn't seem too bad, the taps look a little cleaner and there's plenty of vodka and I've already seen waffles going around….

I got back late on Tuesday night, we finished unloading the truck yesterday and I'm still deep in unpacking and de-playafication mode. So many bins to go through and clean! Lots going on in Defaultia too, I'll probably be laying low on the boards for a few days as I tend to that plus focus my efforts on some back-end stuff around here. Of course, there should be plenty of drinks along the way...

Well, da Bar thread was too long for me to do more than peek in, so now I can pull up a barstool (I brought a few to share), and ask for a nice cold root beer. So nice to meet many of you face to face! I got home yesterday after a night at the Sands but feel like a truck hit me today. Utterly useless. And no food in the house but what I brought home, so it looks like granola bars or instant oatmeal for dinner. If I can get up and walk out to the van and get it, that is.

Your mead was fantabulous! I have a sweet tooth, and the mead was perfect. Wondermussly tasty. And suitably strong. Three cheers for Ygmir's mead and the new bar to serve it in!

Big gang going to the SF Decomp on Oct 7. Hope to see ya there. For now, the yellow ball beckons at 9AM. Something to be said for routine.

Good morning, Marty! We've still got a bunch to clean and prep for storage as well, but will take a break from that this morning to make our way to the local farmer's market. I think the sims open today for camps to start building for Burn2 (the virtual regional group Danger Ranger runs in Second Life), so we may start building our virtual camp a little later. Plus I still have a lot of pictures to go through, I think I got a few really good ones.

I'm looking forward to SF Decom as well as the one down in LA the following weekend, it's sounding like Pandorra's determined to make things work so we can get down there for that.
