Yg, promise me you're taking Aspirin or some other kind of blood thinner?
OK, nanny moment over. Breakfast would be delightful. Do peeps here like salmon and asparagus?

Mmmm, brekkie.
Moulin Rouge is not for everyone.... fast paced and the dialog can move quickly, embedded in the musical numbers. But I love the music and the costumes and the energy. And it makes me cry. I love fucking musicals which make me cry.
Rubbing Yggy's leg, does that qualify for hazardous duty pay?

yum, that looks so good! such an excellent breakfast deserves a mimosa .....

helps massage Yg's leg .... 8 hands are better than 2 ... hee
Considering that the world will end on 12/21/2012, perhaps the theme should be "after the apocalypse" or "new beginning" or something ......

Morning LF, YG, Anti M, Cat and all you other denizens of Bar #4. What a splendid brekie to start the day! Sorry you are getting some very undeserved abuse YG. However, an 8 handed leg massage ... what's not to like you lucky devil!
Today, I finally get back to doing some productive work. Guess that procrastination is my decompressing. Really just want to plan next years shade and shelter structure. Oh well, back to dreaded reality. Maybe a bit of tennis this evening. See ya all later
Cheers

Hi Marty! yeah, sufferin here with all these hands.............
*8 handed massage: finally, "full coverage"* hahahaaha (old white guy joke)
Catfh: Aspirin? no........I thought blood thinners would cause more bleeding? I am taking ibuprofen, when I remember.
doc said I broke a pretty good size vein/artery, to have bled so much. So, I was thinking I'd not want that seeping any more?
AntiM; "hazard pay"? really? it's not like your playing with a loaded gun or something.............well, err...........never mind.........

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Hmm..... well, whatever your doctor says, obviously. But when I read that blood is "pooling" or "congealing," my mind immediately jumps to clots and deep-vein thrombosis. Probably because these have been things that I have had to be on guard against lately. The combination of surgery and travel is generally a no-no, so doctors have been advising me to take Aspirin and be very on guard for symptoms of these things, and the cankles/thankles that I developed after 69 hours of bus travel, well, that added to the risk, so now I'm super-paranoid. Anyways, sorry if I'm projecting! Do whatever your doc tells you!!!ygmir wrote:Catfh: Aspirin? no........I thought blood thinners would cause more bleeding? I am taking ibuprofen, when I remember.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
well no, CAtfh, the doc didn't mention aspirin at all. he just suggested elevation, ice, and movement and massage, to get the blood out of the tissues.
It may be that it's a different blood pooling, than you are thinking. This blood, leaked from a broken/torn vein/artery, and is now puddled inter-tissue from my knee down......well, actually, the bruising is also above my knee,so, I guess that's the "fill line".........it's not actually in the venous system, but just held in the skin sack, that is my leg.
As I understand, it more or less sits there as it's re-absorbed through tissues, and also removed by the lymph system.
I remember long ago, a severly sprained ankle did the same to my foot, and by the end, my foot was sort of like silly putty, you could almost mold and shape it, with the thick blood or whatever inside.
nice visual, I know.......
I don't think there's any quicker way, short of a chainsaw, to get that stuff out...........
*hands Catfh kevlar to go with rain gear*

ha!! this'll be the first of my chainsaw scars not self inflicted!!!
though a friend almost fell a tree on me once, the limbs knocked me to the ground. it was a good laugh later.
Do you happen to have a hockey mask, tinkerbell? it'd be more fun to pretend it's a movie scene.

watched the end of sound of music the other day with my lady ... i was psychically worn down and emotionally vulnerable. i was fighting back tears from the full range of themes - romantic love, yucky political/historical stuff and triumph of individual will.AntiM wrote:

i was like: damn, that is some strong shit. lol
Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Speaking of crying... I wanted to watch "Into the wild" again (not a musical). I LOVE the book and the movie. But, I would end up crying like a baby.AntiM wrote:

Hello!
Hah, I was watching Mouline Rouge just yesterday and loved it once again...also it is good inspiration for the BM clothing
However I will never watch Into the wild again...I like it a lot but cant see it again...
Yggy...do you think kiss on your knee would help?
Have a great day you all

Too early? Naah...

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Oh, and ya, funny. Decompressing...its like the Burns, each one different then the last.
This year finds me with no taste buds and a sleep zombie.
Im craving something spectacular to wake up my playafried taste buddy's. And Titwi is in same boat on taste buds...so we sit and bang our head on the wall for WHAT do we want...whaaa crybabies cause we dont know.....
Had Chinese food last night, the hot n sour soup was good, kinda fun, but same ole same ole.
Then about an hour ago, oh no's I think I know...a Piroshki !!!! And of course I wont find the one Im looking for...well, unless I drive up to Northshore Tahoe, Incline to be more specific...to the grog n grist market...if they are even still in bizz. I ate piroshki 1-2 times a week growing up there, slice it down the middle, big slices of Purple Onion, Cheese, Yellow Mustard and Sour cream.... ya sounds disgusting but its a meld of flavors that has my mouth salivating and if I open my mouth, I gleek! mouthgasms! Not even sure how it happened but i gleeked up my own nose!!!! LOLOLO BAAAAAAhahahahahhaha
Ok, on that note...I found a Russian Market here in Reno that claims to have them....tootles!
