Ha, well, hello there!!!
Happy to have found the new Bar, if I can call it new still? Thank you (((Eric))) for making it so much easier to catch up.
I am happy to be back here with my friends, though it is making me cry. My life here got worse while I was gone and I've forgotten how to lie tell polite untruths, so, I've been getting myself into trouble.
And, I have still not unpacked my clothes.
But my car is clean! Yay!! It went 6050 miles to the dust and back without complaining once!!!

Well, there are already a few unexplained stains on the floor in the corner but I'd still call it new…we're still in single-digit page numbers!
Yggy, what'd you do to your knee?
Been an interesting couple days, but on the upside we've started working on building our camp for the virtual regional burn in Second Life (happens Oct. 20-28) and today I finally was able to get the trikes pressure-washed and deplayafied. I wish I was done with all of it, but at least all the main stuff is done. A dozen or so more bins and we'll be all finished. In the meantime, time for another vodka… drinks all round!

We'll miss you at Decomp GW. Hope you can get something going Misa, it is good to have you close. Is your leg progressing YG? Hope so. I'll be at Decomp with a nice group YG. We'll need to get together there. Good to hear from you ((MDF)). Got to blow those troubles away! Used to love Bushmills. Makes great Irish Coffee!

The Aussies and Kiwis live in the future. I went there once and it was strange. I would call my wife from tomorrow morning, when she was just getting done with work yesterday.goathead wrote:dam I am confused

Today is an "Eastern" Friday for me, so I go to a "late afternoon" meeting in half an hour, then I am done with work by biological noon - which means it is a good time for lunchbeers and afternoon soldering!

Thumps ECM... coffee coffee coffee
Ah, Decom, wish I could go. Technically, I could, but since we have a trip at the end of October, better if I didn't deplete the budget.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Morning all!
You know, I was having a difficult time understanding why it's called "Decompression," when it seems like it's about all the burdens and pressures of the world coming back onto your shoulders. "Like," I thought because even my inner voice talks like a teenager, "shouldn't it be decompression that happens at Burning Man and recompression that happens afterwards?"
Then, yesterday, I was talking to a friend about our decompression experiences, and I kind of randomly made a joke about how the Greyhound trip made me decompress so fast I got the bends. Only after I made that joke did I figure out why it works, and why it's called "Decompression." Weird.
*Takes a sip from Yg's NEKKID.*
WOW! You spiked it strong today!
*Rubs Yg's sore knee.*
*Hugs ((AntiM))*
*Investigates snoring lumps under NEB*
Hiya MDF, 5280MeV, melaniefromthefuturejane, GH, MM, Trilo, GW, Misa!
*Curls up and adds to the snoring chorus.*

Good Morning (Or night) [pick as needed]
What is this Bushmill everyone is signing praises to?? Should I shop for it the next time I go pick up another bottle of Kraken?
Thanks for the coffee AntiM. And sorry I never got a 3rd chance to come pick up those boots!!
Hope your knee gets better Ygrrrr! And thank you a million tons over once again for your help this year. Wish we lived closer and could join in the SF Decom.
CITFH (man that sounds like another one to add to the acronyms list!!) Decom is usually strange to explain prior to the experience. Mine has included stating out loud that I want to get more involved in politics...be the change you want to see blah blah blah. Unexpected reactions from friends are always fun post-burn.
*scoots into NEB to listen to the song from a better angle*

Wow, came in and at the same time the genny ran out of gas and the lights went off???? Had to REFRESH, the genny.
So Howdy Bar! I love a new bar! Keeps it fresh and you know the old saying "Death is ....dwelling on the past or staying in one place to long."
Thats the beauty of Burningman and this here e-burningman...5000 bars on playa and you just cant see all of them even in 16 days....and then some you say you want to visit next yr, dont come back. So its a once in a lifetime experience. This place is great. and its all brand new, but with the same people from old and the wonderful new peeps of this yr. always changing! AWESOME!
Ya deompressing hit a wee bit off target get home date...haha like I was still swimming in the awesomeness for about a week then Whamoo, all brain cells left to grab a shower and not sure when the hot water is gonna run out...well cause they are still not back??? I had fire practice Wednesday at 630pm, well tootling round the house all the sudden I looked at the clock and 7:45 Whoopsie! hahahahahahaaa Luckily it was more a social practice then serious!
Gonna have a potlucky type BBQ tomorrow if any of ya are in the area...its Reno Air Races! Well usually we have front row seats in our backyard but due to last yrs muck, not sure how the stage is going to be set? (so Ill just visit with Burners!)Pm me for addy.
Love ya'll dont ever change!
Throws in 3 huge taped edged self dusting rugs to help decorate the new place. Oh ya, one still has twister dots on it!
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Really busy here this AM!! Morning everyone with hugs all around. BIG coffe this AM. Dives into the NEB for an omni-snuggle!
Gren, we can have an e playa MnG at the SF Decom. It would be fun. There is a great tree for us to meet under in the middle of the park. Let's say at 3PM as a suggestion. We'll need a coordinator and I'll try to craft a sign for all to see. Speak up if you are down with this.
Cheers, kiddies
