This is only an opinion I just find it odd that peoples EGO keeps remaking this bar and not making something new. I would love to see a Viking Bar but that’s just me. Ah.. the Lighthouse..

I saw the Lighthouse burn on the webstream, (couldn't make it out to the playa this year.. grrr) and after most of the rest of the CORE was tapering off, the Lighthouse seemed to just be coming into its own. The cam stayed on it for a long, long time. They showed a brief prerecorded interview with one of the builders, I didn't catch his name but he was wearing a safari hat (like that really helps), and he described how it was constructed of concentric octagonal rings of 2x wood stacked up to form a solid chimney of wood. Heck, I finally had to crash out before the Lighthouse did.

Moves LF to a round couch in the shadows covered in pillows~ lays her head on pillows …covers her with a deep purple down comforter embellished with Bali patterns of gold and bright colors... rubs scented Oil on the lamp behind her …..Picks up Doggies bowl ~ washes out PBR in bar sink~ fills from a bottle in the ice chest marked Tibetan Glacier water~ Fills and sets next to doggies head. Stops to ponder my new close burner friends … they made a jaded old burner smile~ >thank you < thinks of DB and gets a panic look on his face ….then with a broken voice smiles and starts saying help Help…. Help as he walks out a side door~ loves me a Dangerous bunnie~

Sits on an old car seat blocked up to be a couch~ lights an unfiltered Al Capone sweets dipped in cognac takes a tug off his flask~ deep long sigh~ thinks of times with Risky Drinking Whiskey~
