HUzzah for home!

I had ice cream for supper, two scoops of Farr's. Nothing like old fashioned scoop ice cream right from the original shop. (Bear Claw, which is chocolate with caramel, and Chocolate Peanut Butter).

That's great Savannah! I know somethimes it can be tough with the decompressing. I'm glad you're happy and doing wonderfully!


I'm not having issues with decompressing. After thinking about my burn, I really had a great one. I got to see a lot of things and people this year! I'm wondering when Seacompression is going to be this year!

Thank you! :) I know it won't last forever, so I'm trying to enjoy the feeling.

which is helping me with my awful decompression, 5 weeks of work and over there has made it even worse than last year. But i am still happy to have been there and met everyone i did

to survive decompression!!

So intense that it is sometimes hard to do that!! WHY??
Its like, ahhhh, all the things to do and get involved with in BRC.....Need.....More....Time......with the art, with you all, in the dust.

Then again, maybe not!!! Then it wouldn't be as special. And my lungs and skin would hate my guts ;)

I did a writeup of Anubis to give non-pyros a look at what goes into a Burning Man pyro show. Learn some new words and impress your friends and coworkers.
Warning: One photo has boobies in it. They're really nice though, your boss shouldn't mind a bit...

Our luggage is back!

One great big cardboard box (containing a suitcase and a large backpack full of clothes, plus two small plastic tubs full of sundries) and one large cooler full of camping equipment both went missing on our trans-America bus trip, at different stages of the journey. After two weeks, we were despairing of ever seeing them again. And now, just like that (well... not quite... I've received and made dozens of phone calls over the past fortnight), they're safe and sound here in Toronto. One had ended up in Buffalo, in courier express; the other, in Detroit, in unclaimed baggage.

I gotta say, I was astonished at how disorganized Greyhound USA is as a company; at every station, procedures were different, and we were told that the stations before had done it all wrong. Things were undone and redone for us over and over. I crutched back and forth between baggage and ticketing several times in some places. But... all the people working in that maelstrom -- at least the ones we dealt with personally -- were wonderful to us and did everything they could to help. I know a lot of work probably went into finding our bags and getting them back to us. So, on the one hand: Fuck you, Greyhound. But on the other: Thank-you, Greyhound!

well cool. I went to put air in the tire with the slow leak and when I was taking the cap off the valve-stem it took off with a little pop! So I went over an picked it up and put it back on. Then I took it off again and it did the same thing. I go retrieve the cap again and I put my finger over the valve stem and wala! There's the leak. $2.00 later I have a valve ore wrench in hand and the leak is fixed. I hope anyway, although I am pretty sure. Will know for sure tonight. But I think it is fixed. :D
