BM 2012 - Fertility video
BM 2012 - Fertility video
I am sure I'll be the only person doing this, but here's a video I made about how I experienced BM this year. Loved it, obviously. My third year and my favorite thus far. If you don't like the initial music, hang on a bit - it'll change dramatically.

Nice! The bright lotus-looking car ('Splash") with the flowing LED lights whose image appears on the front of the video when first loaded is from our camp.

You and your campmates did an incredible job, DrYes. I never got to ride it but wow it looked beautiful by day and by night.
Re: BM 2012 - Fertility video
Thanks! I'll pass it along to the project lead/car owner. I can take no credit for Splash. He'll be thrilled that "strangers" paid it a compliment though. He (late 60s) lights up like a kid at Christmas when someone says something nice about Splash.trilobyte wrote:You and your campmates did an incredible job, DrYes. DrYes, I watched the whole video. Thanks! May I ask what lens you used for the still portraits?
When he lights his streetlamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.
When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.

Re: BM 2012 - Fertility video
Welcome! All the portraits were taken with a Canon 7D w/ a Canon 17-55m IS lens. I would have liked to have switched up lenses now and then on the playa, but I go to great lengths to dust-proof my camera and changing the lens seems like about the worst thing you could do to a camera out there.BoyScoutGirl wrote:DrYes, I watched the whole video.
