Re: Locking/Deleting Personal Attack Based Topics?
See how fast it devolves?
@ Ansgard: That "truly vile individual" remark... how is that anything better than what you accuse that user of doing? Just be an adult and put the offending party on plonk/ignore/your foe list. Don't start the snide remarks. Snide remarks from all sides started the stupid drama, if all participating parties had simply ignored each other as suggested, they'd all have gotten bored and done with it and moved the fuck on. But no, they continued and the drama create behavior here which led to bans. So here you are with a snippy snide side remark.... not enough to be banned, but enough to be noticed. Are you fucking kidding? THE NAME CALLING NEEDS TO STOP. Such behavior is juvenile and unproductive. And that's a side of the story no one seems to be willing to see, and none of the participants able to do, just stopping the name calling and nasty little digs. Just STOP IT.
Just a personal opinion.

Re: Locking/Deleting Personal Attack Based Topics?
I wish it were as simple a situation as the less than half of the story that you know, Ansgard. I'm not going to get into the particulars of an ongoing situation on the boards, but I will say neither account in the current case has (yet) been permanently banned (and both were notified of such at the time they were suspended). Once I have an update on the situation, the individuals involved will be the first to know.
