it was great having our kids and your great nephews too in camp with us...we were multi-generational. And it was fantastic!!It was especially nice to have TamaraKay's daughter and Lucky420's daughter and son to add to the mix. What wonderful fun. It really was Home for all of us, wow...

*stumbles in with a big cloud of Dust around him, like the Pigpen cartoon character*
It's unloaded! The bus -- Millicent The Bus is empty! From 40 bicycles to 4.000.000 beer cans, Millicent is empty -- except for four tons of dust. Now I can start cleaning. Shoveling. Found a nice assortment of beers and wines gifted to the bicycle shop, so... Cheers! (urp.)

I was hoping I'd find something fun searching for reign of coffee too, but no luck. Meanwhile, time for vodka and vicious chemicals...

Morning bar. Happy Tuesday!
That multi-generational camp sounds like it was a blast!! All of you wonderful folks and your equally wonderful children give me wonderful hope for how awesome our future relationship with our kid can be.
Busy weekend we had...about 90% of our burn gear/clothing is officially put away. The rest needs to go to the dry cleaners...maybe. Otherwise I'll just hang them in the coat closet and be done. So bitter-sweet as we do not plan on returning for a couple of years. (Boo!!)
I see we still are in need of a Bar Glossary! I will do my best now that the words are being brought up as new to put them together and make a google doc.
Hope everyone has a fantabulous day!!

We were talking during dinner last night how this summer was very mild here and how this is promising to be a much cooler winter. Not sure yet if that is good or not...

We're flying to LA this Friday. A weekend visit with my cousin who lives there. So excited to go sailing with her in the bay!
Oh and while putting together the first draft of the glossary I found the meaning of LABIA for all interested parties: "Lounge Adjoining Bar Invitational Area"
I hope this glossary is going to be very helpful!!

Oh and hi LF!!! *waves*
My morning is just ok today...not off to a great start but 1 non-great morning is alright as long as it doesn't become a habit for us. Get to try again tomorrow.

The whole multigenerational thing made DWD the best damn camp on the playa (well also being part of Barbie Death Village helped too). All the mammas and papas must be doing something right because those kids were some of the coolest people I've ever met. True playa family there.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Mmm chocolate covered… brilliant idea, GH.
Laserfox, if you've got stuff that's not machine washable but yet maybe not quite dry-clean, you might want to do what we do with some of our more playariffic designs (pirate coats, waistcoats/topcoats, frillies, etc). Put a few inches of cold water into the tub and then add between a quart to half a gallon of white vinegar. One at a time. submerge the garment in the water, then lift it up and squeeze/press the excess water out and hang dry. Leather bits get toweled dry and then treated with leather care. Hope that helps.
Ooh pastries - thanks, littleflower!
