No wonder he couldn't help me figure out what came after alphabet K.

BBadger: Where is Last Bar Standing?
Wh..sh: All the way at the end. The street after K. What is after K?
BBadger: *silence* (this could have been eye roll, in which case, that sockpuppet was your finest work!)
Wh..sh: Let's see. A, B, C...I, J, K... L! Last bar standing is on L!

Speaking of name tags, certain moderators seem intent on impersonating Barney Fife.

Somebody pass me a mint julep, provided they're familiar w/ the etymology of "julep".

Oh (((Marty))) I totally read that as "another day another drama," bwahahahahahaha that's more like what I have got going here!

Thanks for the coffee. I will drink it fast and get organized here because the plan is for me to take my mom out for some errands and then, yikes, drive her up to the city to see my brother! He is just out of the hospital and full of tubes, wires etc, on the 'hundred pills a day' plan (well almost) so I am a bit nervous about this.

But it is a beautiful day here so, I will enjoy it while I can. 8)

*smooches* and (((hugs))) to all

*rubs Simon's shotgun, for luck*

hhhmm Simon........can't zoom, but that appears to be a 45-70. Though there were lever action shotguns produced, I'm pretty sure.

and Grai: careful what you wish for. A .50 BMG, is not going to be a comfy gun to carry, or fire, often. I also want one (though here in Ca they are illegal, so of course I can't have one).

there are so many choices......my advice over the years to new shooters: "Get, what you can hit something with"..........
fire many, find what fits and works, and go with that:

" a hit with a .22 is better than a miss with a .44" is a golden rule.

Hi Marty!!
Hi AntiM!
Hi 420!
HI MDF!

haha 420: did you see the pic of us all on the couch......hahhaah I think you're giggling at me........
