Greetings from Holland, the burn was great
Hi all,
2012 was my first year and I had a great time. I arrived monday morning, hit the playa at 08:00 hr. 11:00 hr my brother and I were on our place. 08:10 and Jasmine. Met great people during the week. Great neighbours. Thanks. Coffee in center camp every morning was beautifull too. In fact, the lady after the counter gave me a playa name: PAS. She missunderstood me, my name is Bas, as in Sebastian and wrote it on my cup. Another man I met explained the letters PAS: Playa Awsome Sebastian. Nice. Loved the the art cars, the art, the parties everywere (crossroads!!!) we did lamp lighters as well. Really special. Great was the gift from a guy, matches, made from the BM ticket of 2008 (after a good spank). Thanks. Amazing, loving, beautifull, great, Burning Man is in my hart. Miss it really. I will be back home in 2015. That is a promise.
Thank you all.

Re: Greetings from Holland, the burn was great
You must be the same Sebastian I met at my camp, Space Gnomes!! We actually chatted a little bit on eplaya before the Burn but I didn't ask if it was you when we met, since I thought there must be many people from Holland here and there's no way it's the same person. Crazy!
I had fun talking about Amsterdam with you, and stroopwafels! One year I'd like to set up a pannenkoekenhuis on the playa and serve poffertjes. It may take a few years of planning but I'll do it one day! Glad you enjoyed your first Burn and maybe we'll meet again someday, either in Amsterdam or in Black Rock City!

Re: Greetings from Holland, the burn was great
Hi,
Yes I remember our chat on eplaya. Sorry I missed the M&G at BDC&WB. On friday i realized that I missed it. Too much to see and met a lot of great people.
And I am really sorry that I did not make the connection with Eplaya Katiebaby25 and BRC Katie. Where was you camp located? Did we had a beer on 09:30 in the morning?
Hope to meet you in 2015. Thanks
PAS

Hey PAS!
Welcome to eplaya!
Check out this regionals page, they're might be folks near you that you can connect with before 2015
http://regionals.burningman.com/eu_index.html
We were the Gnome Dome just around the corner and down the street. We're a bit (actually A LOT) more of a relaxed camp, but it was great to constantly run into other Gnomes along G and 3!

Beer was good actually at that time. Together with a great conversation.
Thanks

Re: Greetings from Holland, the burn was great
We met at the Space Gnomes camp at 3:00 and F, I met you and your girlfriend and someone else you were with... we were in the kitchen... I'm sure we were drinking beer, I usually am at the Burn
we had a good chat about Amsterdam and Delft where my Mom is from, you tested a bit of my Dutch speaking (which isn't very good!) I didn't realize it was you either, and I also didn't make it to the Meet & Greet. We did decide though, If you aint Dutch, you aint much!! haha
Hey Illy! Thanks so much for saying so! This was only our second year as a theme camp so it's always great to hear positive feedback. Sorry I didn't come by the Gnome Dome... didn't realize you guys were so close! Next year for sure! It's definitely nice to have Gnomie neighbors and our neighborhood was fantastic all around. Did you happen to come to our Tuesday night party?

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Re: Greetings from Holland, the burn was great
No worries, a lot of Space Gnomes stopped by through out the week, and constantly invited us over. We were barely able to pull off the theme camp this year, with only 4 from Denver and 2 from Florida.Katiebaby25 wrote:Hey Illy! Thanks so much for saying so! We didn't make the Tuesday night party, but did 'pop in' for minutes at a time when we hiked up 3 oclock from G out to Esplanade.
How many folks were in your camp total?
Thats might be a pretty kick ass idea!theCryptofishist wrote:Next year: Village of the Gnomes!

That way people can repent the un-gnomly since each morning after a night of debauchery.
