Did Dave try something like that with HAL? It's been a while. No, those "brain" modules had to be slowly extracted, one by one.FIGJAM wrote:Just reprogram it with one of your larger hammers.

Come to think of it, were there not Stone Age people at the beginning of the film? Or maybe that was a different sci-fi film. It's all good.FIGJAM wrote:Yeah, but I thought Ludites LIKED older technology.

ygmir, that chicken answers the question of "what is the color when black is burned?" You are lucky that was an outside event... when it's on the stove in the house, the smoke alarm alerts you that your computer fix is taking too fucking long, same results though as far as dinner goes. o.k. that's a story for another time.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
*wanders in, fills NEKKID* thanks MDF.......hahaha yeah, I dug down through the charcoal, to some pretty tasty meat in that lump of fowl coal.
dang, missed Elorrum.......but yeah, that chicken was black.......but I did remember (had learned but forgotten) a rule of open fire BBQ slow cooking/baking: keep the food a long way from the flame..........seems simple enough but I sure did forget.
haha Bob.....it truly is chicken tinder, pure carbon on the outside, but moist, pink and meaty on the inside, (shakes head, dang mind, so at least made one good meal.

Morning. Thanks for the cup of coffee, MDF. I like it on the cool side since I got a late (look at alarm clock and see work starts in two minutes) start this morning. Seriously, everyone tries to throw out my cold coffee: "I'm drinking that!"
Ygmir, it was a revelation to me when I had grown, that bbq chicken was not exactly like that. My poor Dad tried the "fuck it up, and they won't ask again" approach to barbeque for years, and we still had him cook for us. Wings were total charcoal.

Morning Gang!
Nothing starts the morning off wrong than scolding your tongue!
I get weird looks at gas stations when I grab a coffee cup, walk to the ice machine fill it a bit, then go get my coffee.

Morning Gang!!! Thx for the coffee, MDF, which I like really hot. Also I am the local king of the BBQ and like my chicken a bit charred. Get no complaints and loads of kudos.
YG, Thanks for the plug for the E Playans MnG at the SF Decomp. 3PM under the big tree in the center of the park. I'll "keep the light on" for you and also a sign saying something original like "E Playa Meet & Greet"!
Something to look forward to, seeing YG and Looneytune. Good buddies!
Meanwhile, kiddies, "don't take any wooden nickels"

haha you may be right, Dougly!! I know the mistake.......this new BBQ I made is more effecient with heat and fire........and for the same fuel, I need to move the chicken much further away.........well lesson learned, and guts sparkly clean from all the carbon!!
