So the Jameson's about done me in. I feel the throb from a budding hangover and I am supposed to be working on music today. Thank you for the water and vitamins. Lastnight was a rough one. Although I do have to tell you that the "Alien Urine Sample" is fucking delicious. A bit sugary but none the less, wonderful.

Back in the mountains quite a few years ago, we used to do peyote and tequila in almost equal measures. Whoo Ahhh!!! Partying down with Mescalito!!buckethead alien wrote:When I was travelling in Mexico, someone turned me onto a mix of tequilla, fresh lime juice, and honey in equal measures. That'll cure what ails you right quick.
Not much of a hangover, though.

A great hot toddie I would get in the winter at a place called Clyde's in the Georgetown area of DC was something like ....
Strong tea in glass with powdered sugar rim
1 shot of brandy
2 shots of Grand Mariner
sweeten to taste
1 orange slice floated on top
chocolate strawberry impaled on rim
A bit "busy" with both the orange and strawberry ... but tasted awesome and darn sure warmed one to the bone on a cold damp night.
Oh, and follow that with a bowl of Clyde's chili ... woohoo! No ground beef in that, it's made with chunks of sirloin steak ... okay, now I am getting hungry.

Whoa. I didn't know woodrows could travel on their own. Nice going little feller. Come to think of it, I didn't know woodrows could get colds.Woodrow wrote:Back in the mountains quite a few years ago, we used to do peyote and tequila in almost equal measures. Whoo Ahhh!!! Xmun, my former employer at the bar where i worked, used to force feed me hot toddies all winter.
our recipe was quite simple:
1 shot of scotch
water up the the 'line' on the glasses (don't even ask me the ounces!)
about three cloves.
hated them at first, but they grew on me.
damn those winters in unheated buildings!

Hi, Fishy!! Yeah, I've been feeding my fever, though. I'm snuggled down all warm and toasty in the deepest part of the pants I can get to. As a matter of fact, I'm so far down, I can almost touch the sock...theCryptofishist wrote:Yup. You must be starving that cold, cause it looks thinner too.Woodrow wrote:I've got a cold right now... doesn't my voice look deeper?
