OK class, take your seats and settle down..
Put away your psych books, this is science class.
Now, today we are going to learn about pressure differential condensation. Did everyone look at Bob's movie that he brought in.. Good..
OK, can anyone tell me why the cloud formed behind the jet? .. anyone..
YGMIR!! put that distillation coil back where you found it!
OK.. anyone?!
Alright, when the jet swoops down, and then pulls g's it emphasizes the low pressure above the wing needed for lift, and this lowered air pressure results in the air temperature in the immediate vicinity being reduced.
*notices Simon sneaking in late and gives him the evil eye*
Now, if conditions are right, this lowered temperature causes water vapor to condense out, forming a short lived 'cloud' that you see here.. or some such bullshit..
HEY! Did I say you people could light the bunsen burners!
now class.. CLASS!..

I was 16 when this was shown to me, The amount of mental energy I was spending on some one I thought I hated was draining my ability to love those that I loved. here is the quote in it's entirety
“...the opposite of love is not hate -- it's apathy. It's not giving a damn. If somebody hates me, they must "feel" something ... or they couldn't possibly hate. Therefore, there's some way in which I can get to them.”

If I were going, I'd take the train to the 22nd street station and take a 12 minute walk from there. not bad.

Instead, lets power some coffee until I'm motivated to take care of long overdue tasks. My Mom's service is next weekend, and company is coming. We looked at a lot of photos yesterday, and I like what I'm remembering. It's hard to describe how her vital self was just erased from my mind over the last few years.

I remember a series of Peanuts strips back in the '80s, which had Snoopy giving creepy hugs to Lucy, Woodstock, etc. Charlie Brown explained it by saying, "He's been that way since he got those Leo Buscaglia tapes."

Well, my back was already fucked up before I climbed out and finished the hole for the loquat tree in teh backyard.
Now, all I need is for someone to tread upon my back and fling me into some hot water. A beer and a burger would be appreciated as well.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
I don't know who's telling you that, but they are wrong. Depending on where you park... Embarcadero metro station... (Take BART to get there, probably) has the trains that go out past the ball park and the train station and then you go out until you hit 3rd and... Mariposa, maybe. Then you get off for a three block walk. The line to get in will be more ferocious than the public transit to get there...ygmir wrote:*wanders in*
