Re: The Bar, Volume #4
as a bar this is the place to ask the bartender deep philosophical questions right? to ponder the meaning of the universe and get advice on deeply personal questions from the person on the stool next to you and all that jazz even though you just met?
well as is the "done thing" in a bar i shall plough on without wiating for an answer i have 2 questions which are really one, i have spent a lot of time thinking about them and not really got to an answer on my own, which is where i get my best advice, well not the best advice but most consistently reliably agreeing with what i am going to do anyway advice, but on these 2 questions i have ponder and cogitated for many moons and got nowhere, so i thought i would ask you random person in the bar what should i do?

not at all.
however as i am prone to spouting in all directions, i have found else where, should i want to be sad i am not allowed. if a friend is down i cheer them up, which ,makes me happy, or if i say something a friend says something to make me happy. nothing will compensate for being at least 300 miles from the people i cal family all the time but that comes close.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Grai, having known you longer than anyone else in this bar, I have the answers:
"Yes, of course I want a double" and
"No my dear lady, it's only seduction if I resist, which I assure you I will not"
If you can master those two answers, any other questions are rather moot.

Moin, Moin!
ah, deep nonexistent existentialistic questions...
how can they be deep if they don't exist? unless they are a koan?
Grai I think you are missing the big trick, Answer all the seemingly profound questions with another Question.
For example;
Where were you Last night?
Did you know Knowmad has four sets of bunny ears?
or
You're just telling me you love me just so I will Sleep with you!? <---note this is not technically a question it is a statement.
"Oh? I have no intention of sleeping, but if you want to that's fine by me. <--- see the; "Oh?" is the question, what follows is an equally vague statement.
Do you know where the Remote is?
What remote?
Just Practice. you'll do fine.
And AntiM: "Sporty enough to share"! Was my thoughts exactly! wouldn't the person you loaned them to be on the wrong day?

Grai, is the happiness of your friends truly your happiness? Then you are a friend indeed.
Do you have friends who will cheer you up when you are down?
And I will have another steaming cup of that hot, delicious Kopi Luwak, if there's any left?

If -- if -- I remember correctly, there is a reference to such panties in James Michener's novel Sayonara, published in the 1950s. The Japanese lady wants her American boyfriend to get her a set of "weekies", and he struggles to figure out what she means. (weekday panties)knowmad wrote:

And another brother, Stewy.

Hi all.
*stumbles around looking for any dregs of coffee left*
I got 4.5 hours of sleep and I'm trying to work. 4 more days of this shit. I hope my date can make it to Atlanta so at least I can get some screaming hot sex in a week & a half.

All I know, is that knowing my ipod is waiting for me at home makes the prospect of that bart ride across the bay without it a little less horrible.

This the bar? WHERE'S MY BACON BLOODY MARY DAMMIT!
Hey all, some of you may know me as my playa altered-ego Wingman. Missed you all out there this year but perhaps 2013 will prove to be more favorable. I might even actually just *go* to That Thing In The Desert and not be working it.

Just say no to beverage entitlement!
The drink is probably wherever you left it, that's usually the case when I'm unable to find mine. I can find mine tonight, though... Pandorra and I made it down to LA in one piece, enjoyed a lovely dinner and drunks at a nearby gastropub, and are looking forward to hitting up LA decom at the cornfields tomorrow.
