Put on cologne because SHE wanted me to. I mean, what are you supposed to do with that stuff?

I have some fresh horseradish- FYI it doesn't work as well as lime after tequila and hurts if you put it up your nose for a dare (oh the joys of being nearly 40 but acting like 13)

I find myself very curious about the process, but well out of my comfort zone knowing what to say, or ask, or what's complimentary or what comment makes me a total ass....

It's only out of comfort zone when a man transitions to a women and then becomes a lesbian.

Re: No Comfort Zone
I have so many friends who have transitioned in every direction (m to f, f to m, straight, gay, bi other...) that I've become militantly supportive of anyone who needs to grow beyond what society is comfortable with. There is nothing more amazing than seeing your friends becoming themselves, and us adjusting to a new name or pronoun is nothing compared to what they are going through - personally & socially. I don't have friends based on their gender or sexuality, I have them based on who they are.knowmad wrote:Beginning my Transgender transition; while technically brings me more into a comforting zone, being public about it is a bit unnerving but oh so invigorating.

Absolutly understandable AntiM, Spoken honestly. thank you. You are more than welcome to ask what you wish, however you will. For along time I myself was disrespectful to my own nature; not comfortable in my own zone (my own body), so I fully understand about awkwardness.AntiM wrote:I find myself very curious about the process, but well out of my comfort zone knowing what to

which brings us to our next point...ygmir wrote:that never stops the rest of us, AntiM.......
JK your limited binary view of the world must be tedious. The Fact that I am both Amorously and sexually attracted to both men and women probably doesn't even fit in your narrow dichotomy. should you not be comfortable with who earns my affections, and what sex they happen to be interests me none in the slightest. If you feel the need to express that discomfort by being a complete jackass, by all means, go right ahead. quod erat demonstrandumjkisha wrote:It's only out of comfort zone when a man transitions to a women and then becomes a lesbian.
Having seen you demonstrate this countless times on this forum Eric; I have no doubt about your sincerity or the value of having your friendship. Thank you. you and others that embrace this mentality don't just stand beside me, you in some ways have cleared the way.Eric wrote: I have so many friends who have transitioned in every direction (m to f, f to m, straight, gay, bi other...) that I've become militantly supportive of anyone who needs to grow beyond what society is comfortable with. Re: No Comfort Zone
Being true to yourself and comfortable in your own skin is the most important thing. Sharing it publicly may be unnerving, but does allow those of us who love you to stay up to date and provide support even if it is long distance.knowmad wrote:Beginning my Transgender transition; while technically brings me more into a comforting zone, being public about it is a bit unnerving but oh so invigorating.

Knowmad, I know you would not even think about this (ireversable?) quest if you had the tinest bit of comfort with your body the way it is. So it's got to be one comfort zone over another.
(It's hard for me to put myself in your mocassins, since I couldn't dream of cutting off little Dougly!)

I have a friend who did that. She's actually really happy now.* 1) Who you identify as, and 2) who you wanna shag are two different things. There are simply some combinations that are simply more rare than others. I know it seems like a lot of work to go to just to narrow one's pool of partners quite a bit . . . but if I woke up tomorrow as a man, I'd be kind of upset. Even if I were handsome.jkisha wrote:It's only out of comfort zone when a man transitions to a women and then becomes a lesbian.

*In a way, you could view her as actually very consistent. Loves the ladies, always has, probably always will; a penis proved inconvenient to her peace of mind, that's all.

Well, there's your trouble, Ygmir--you're supposed to use a penis for either propagation, puppetry, other various entertainments, or filling out trousers, not leading the 5th Battalion 20th Infantry Regiment or choosing between Wendy's Value Meals.ygmir wrote:a penis, has caused much strife to many of us having them, especially when using them for decision making.

Re: No Comfort Zone
While I don't particularly like sex with women (I don't mind it, but it ain't my thang)... I do love seeing breasts. I don't think it is sexual, I don't want to nuzzle or touch, but boobies bouncing free make me warm and fuzzy.
Is that strange?
