Yes Savannah we had a small house fire , nobody's fault really we just had a nice family party last Saturday night, sat out on the deck around the outdoor fireplace drinking and dancing (to Elorrum's pirate boombox, which survived unscorched) sat around until 3-ish I think while the back of the fire box got hotter and hotter and set the inside of the house on fire. Burned through the kitchen wall about 5 am and set off the smoke alarms. We were all asleep by then :? but, not for long!

The boys were great, actually. Nobody hurt, kitchen still usable. My Mom is in a continuous tizzy though because her things have been moved  and she can't remember why.

Mass quantities I mean MASSIVE quantities of gin have been consumed this week, yet I remain regrettably sober.

I'd advise only seeing half friends' good sisters from now on.

no, no name. "the tank" is good...its about as big and heavy a car, as cars go, that you can get. and still good mpg's.

Yeah, Marty, I'm very happy for Zito, what an unexpected tale of hanging in there. It was great to see him do so well. Take it easy, and feel better soon.
MDF, I'm wishing you a six pack of "nap in a can (patent pending)" in the mean time, there's coffee.
Ygmir, and Nila, thanks for sharing. I used to see my old Hoopy toyota truck in my sister's neighborhood, and it was good to see an old buddy still soldiering on.
This is the first weekend in a long time where I have no chores, obligations, or messes to deal with. It's wonderful to feel on the tipping point of something new. This week I got a key to the bike locker at work, and will see how my bike has endured my long long absence from it. I'm afraid I might need to make it into a dually for the beginning of this job. Thankfully there's also a sturdy old rower that hasn't been past vertical storage for about as long as the bike has been still.

Thanks MDF..........so what's with the long days? just too many wanting too much, and not enough MDF to go around?
Yay for Elorrum!! some time just for you, to do as you please.
I've got so much to do today, I'm not quite sure where to start.
And now, I see they're calling for snow at the Hof.......and I still need to finish, seal, and paint the windows we installed and put a snow roof over the travel trailer.........dang.......I guess I'll hope we don't get so much snow that I can't get back up.

MoinMoin!
those Pancakes look good. I'm fasting until this evening though so I'll just try not to think about them.

Yeah good weather in the North West! (well not raining)
A great Day for a Sweatlodge. Making Pumpkin Apple Cobbler to bring for potlatch afterwards. The Salmon are Spawning and most of my friends had good luck hunting, Some of My friends pressed Cider the other night so there should be plenty of yummy food. I love the Fall Lodges!

so much for not thinking about food.

Have a nice weekend everyone!!

Morning one and all. Begining to feel a bit better, but now it is more of a sore throat kind of thing. Great stack of pancakes, LF. You sound so busy. Elorrum, its good to have a bit of open time to just be. Zito really pitched a beauty yestrday. Hope you can get in under the snow at the Hof, YG. That is one humongous project. Don't know how you do it!

Got to rest up today for the Masque Erotica in SF tonight. Being whisked along to the party by 2 or 3 beautiful ladies. Tough job, but someone's got to do it.

Have a great one, kiddies, and thanks for the good wishes MDF & El
