Dang, MDF, bummer about your vision problem. Having similar issues, but have the VA and they are great here in SF. I am sure that many of us are grateful for your "soft" vision of us on the Playa, AntiM. Love YG's experiment. Right up your alley MDF. No??? Morning Grai, Elorrum, Fishy, Aserendipity. Now for a bit of coffee to celebrate TDIF. Looks like the Giants might do the Tigers in Detroit in the next two games!!! Exciting times on on the baseball front!!

Have a great one, kids

I just saw the division director who filled in for ours when he was out and an assciate division director chatting with each other. I'd never seen them together before, so I had to urge to say, "Wait, you two know each other? What are the odds?"

Good Morning and thank you for the refreshing sip of life without debate
After the rutless may I suggest a reality history of the darling Stones
their new tune "Doom and Gloom" is meant to parody those youths who speak of Mick (et al) as if he had lost his energy after 50 years of giving it out to us.
I am not skill full enough to send the entire works on line
and still enjoying my morning cuppa
but xoxo to you

Nice newts!

Saturday is my "no coffee" day, just because I don't have occasion for it.

But it's also my "headache day". Could there be a connection?

So, Tylenol or more coffee?

extra caffeine on Saturday!!!! because I won't be having any differences of opinion on my own in the morning, listening to all the stuff I like listening to, and doing what I want. More coffee!!!! don't worry about cleaning up yet, let's make speakers!!!!

Compromise, and have some Earl Grey tea?

I'm out of coffee, so I'm just going to drink tea 'til I'm bouncing off the walls.

tea is good and has more caffeine
So today I have had 3 people ask me for help
they want to go as "Burners" for their Halloween gear
ever so gently I expressed my puzzlement
Hmm, some dudes out there might use this market
but after 17 years I still do not have any idea what to wear until I am there

Christ Almighty. If anyone asked me to help them dress like a "Burner" for Halloween I'd dress them in black, roll them in dust, and hit them with my car.

Ya know what.... A week ago I was at a City function here in Clearlake, and there was local wine being served outdoors. It was evening and getting cold, so I grabbed a jacket out of the car -- my GP&E jacket. Sure enough, somebody -- the guy from the winery, serving my wine -- was a burner (on the Monaco ship crew). We are everywhere. :D

Look, nobody better answer that question with something sappy like "in the hearts of her citizens" or any other "yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus" type crap.
