Bob, love the story!!! Great way to wake up on Thursday morning. Morning YG
Off to a bit of driving in the Bay Area today. Folks in the east are really getting a bit of natures wrath. Let's hope this latest storm will not be too strong.
Cheers

That was a product of a 30 mile death march up near Mt Goddard, helping a friend place a food cache for a Sierra Club outing whilst attempting highly technical Class 5 compound puns the entire way. Got so desperate, one punch line was "Duck of Ural".

Went to the big box store to look for this wax block I got last year and they are not making them anymore I guess but I found one called fresh cut fraiser fur.... Our house smells Like a Christmas tree lot. Omg!!!! I'm in heaven. It put me in such a christmasy mood the tree and some decorations went up. Woops. Lol. Anything good on tap right now?

How about some traditional urban contemporary ale?
In the 64 oz, of course.

If you feel pretentious, we can drink the imported high alcohol canadian 800 version.

Hi, Winebuff!
Have a favorite ale for the discerning palate?
Here's one for the digitally inclined.

Poor Deb--sometimes this place gets too much for her. She's on the Zuckerberg slave site, so I see her there with some frequency...

Thanks for the update Fishy.. sure would be good to see her get that Nevada business sorted out and make it to BRC.
Hi yg! Any snow up your way? I figure the Hof has its share at this point. We are having a stretch of nice weather here. I recently realized that there is a company, located and named after a town near you, which builds worldclass television production equipment.. ie. switchers, and the like. A nice claim to fame I would think.
*sets bottle of whiskey on the bar for our friends on the east coast still dealing with serious weather related issues*

Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

Good morning, (((my friends))).
*starts ECM*
Fishy, that fire drill fiasco is such a familiar story, geez. We have similar problems here even though we have written plans for assisting persons who have difficulty with stairs. Fortunately all our drills are advertised as such so we have time to pull out our plans and stop participating at the point where the plan falls apart. (Ear plugs are quite helpful at that point.)
Finding an occupied office suite at the end of the drill results in a big red FAIL for the designated safety chief. "Well we couldn't just leave her here!" we say. "What if it had been a real fire?" Bwahahahahahahahaha... "save yourself" does not fly with nurses.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
MMmm, coffee.
Raining here. Yesterday morning was still warm and dry, but very breezy. Maple hadn't really dropped leaves, she did yesterday, big time, ankle deep with wind driven drifts. Larry got home at dusk, turn on the backyard floodlights and proceeded to rake and suck-mulch. Took a couple hours, but he wanted the leaves up before it snows this weekend. I looked out the window this morning, the backyard is a lovely sea of golden leaves again. And it is raining.
Time to get the fireplace going again.

Morning all. Had no work at the shop this week, so I've been sewing up a storm. Sent off my most recent kilt order, and it sounds like I have 2-6 new orders underway.
Gotta find a golf cart....
