I was kidding. Much of my posting is tongue in cheek. Maybe I should use emoticons.

trilobyte wrote:Fun vid, Piehole. Did you fly into LA and then drive up from there with your campmates? Don't beat yourself up over missing a deadline or participation/volunteer opportunity in your first year. It's kind of expected - and it's one of the reasons why a lot of veterans do what we can to encourage first timers not to make a bunch (or any) commitments. Sorry to hear that 2013 is in question, hopefully things work out between now and then.
Boo for one of the rare rainy weekends in SF being the same weekend we got a new storage place. Instead of running around between the old and the new with any loads or getting anything run over from our place, we largely stayed home and worked on plans (for storage, for camp, for our living space). Rain or shine, hopefully tomorrow's a little more productive.
Flew into LA, then drove to SD to meet up w everyone, picked up the rental and took off from SD. I wasn't really beating myself up for the screwing up the art project thing, but I was beating myself up because of how (some of) my first burn played out. Alas, next time.
Hah, I miss the rare rainy weekends/weeks in SoCal.

Trilo, it did take you soo long to lock out that comic jail dude..I was so going to be unladylike nasty back, and kept trying to not read it, even tried out new "happiness" thread that was too weak
PH, the way to the Man is a preamble of your video, right ?
Today I am going to the regional meeting in hope of more connections

I love coffee on the weekends. I can drink a lot and not worry about going off on anybody. I have to watch it on the weekdays since it can sort of approach a hair trigger situation in my ability to absorb bullshit. well... I think I'll head out to the garage and see if the Brownies ever showed to finish organizing my stuff. could happen.

Since we're sorta talking about it...
I am so tired of people who make massive assumptions about who I am/we are when we try and disagree with them. Also, I do try and give people honest explinations of why I think they are getting flak, and these are somehow taken as playing with them. I must do it badly, and the fact is that I will have posts of other tone in the thread, so that I do understand why they have trouble switching modes...
I also want to say: People who don't do drugs at the event tend not to want to talk about them, because it isn't why they go and they don't want any increased police presence. People who do, don't want any increased police presence and some of them simply may not want to think about getting caught as part of the great human ability to not think about distressing things.

Oh great. Burning Man now has jumped the shark. When there's a reference to it on The Cleveland Show you know the end is nigh. Thank God for the East Coast feed.

I thought that it jumped the shark in 1990. The Cacophony society started publicizing it and like 500 people showed up and the police basically shut it down. They had to move it all somewhere else and it wasn't really the same anymore.

Dogs are the leaders of the planet. If you see two life forms, one of them’s making a poop, the other one’s carrying it for him, who would you assume is in charge?
