And to think he died on Bush's watch.

So long Mr. Reeves.

So long Chris- hope you had fun.

On a side note- is it an interesting example of the power of mass consciousness that he became able to wiggle his fingers or does that happen occasionally with paraplegics?

If it does mean we can create our own reality, how about we set up a time to meditate together on creating a sort of "life raft" (heck, visualize the contessa, that has way more style) that would shift us out of the crippled excuse for a reality we now experience into a happier one...

How about December 1st at noon?
Be the dime you seek.

I dont know how many of you are old enough to remember the little ruckus the Catholic church kicked up when Reeves' Superman was released.
They were complaining that parts of the storyline had been scripted to portray Superman as being a Christ figure (namely the scene in the fortress of solitude where Superman has his first conversation with the Ghost of his father).

They stated that Reeves had taken on a serious responsibility in potraying a being with such God Like power.

I always loved how Reeves responded to this in the press.
Instead of trying to engage the Church in the press in defense of the movies screenplay, he just very plainly responded
"Hey, I'm just an actor from Jersey" .

I liked that.
You know he's flying now.

made me sad to hear this today.

one of the best parts of his whole story to me was his relationship with his wife. she once said that his paralysis, rather than hurting their relationship, actually made it stronger, and she was amazed at how many new things it gave them to see and learn about each other. made me cry. i send her some good stuff today.

and goodbye to Superman. wow, what a journey.
