Had an awesome time myself - wow - it was nice to relive some of the fun moments of the playa, while getting everything with a true San Francisco flavor. What a great party, it certainly reignited my high!

My friend from Canada and I had an awsome time also.

Loved the computer controlled flame thrower and glad to see the pay phone from "pac hell."

My friend is a VOIP Eng. so it was great.

Hehe, I thought CalTrans was gonna bitch about the soot on the underside of the overpass :) "OMG, they're burning up the freeway!"

I had a great time, sat on top of the magic bus for a bit, hung out at Spike's ... picked up a bag of MOOP before leaving and headed to the Baghdad Cafe for breakfast. Sucks that I don't get today off.

I'm so bummed we couldn't attend. We had kid challenges on a school night. Looking forward to seeing "gasp" pictures.

Hey,

How can I find out who was D.J.ing in cocomo last night?

Anyone know?

There's one song I want to get and I don't know if it is in stores. It played after the live band played on stage.

Who was the band?

He was Kid Beyond....or it was Kid something..I have seen him before, I have his email..Ill get it to ya, but gotta find it.....There was a pretty good beat box guy at another site...even the BRC radio station was there! Liquid Latex camp, everyone at the Star bars...they did need another food outlet for such a long event....

Thanks.

I hooked up with radiofree Burningman last night. I'm gonna talk with him about hooking it up with playacast.

One other thing.......maybe I got there late but I never saw Larry Harvey or Michael Michael or Harley or Marion.

What's up wit that? Or did I just miss them all together?

This is where to find who played what and when at Decom:

http://tinyurl.com/6nn35

I had an awesome time last night! (And just when I was starting to get my "normal" sleep/work schedule back on track, I have completely thrown it off again...)

This was the first time I went to a Burning Man event all by my not-lonesome self. It was a great experience for me. It's really interesting to be not-single but alone and sorting through the oh-you're-not-available-then-fug-ed-about-it people and the your-alone-you-must-be-needy people and find those of you out there, like me, who just want to connect, play and share all the toys.

I LOVE you people! Thanks, again, for another great party!

Picks of the Burn

Post by jacomo » Mon Oct 11, 2004 3:29 pm

There was a guy who had some like 16 X 20 pics of the Burn laid out on the grass. He gave me his card with his email (it's cool to download them) BUT I lost his card, dancing (no doubt).. Anyone know him?

I didn't personally see Marion or Harley, but I'm guessing they were there somewhere. The Hatted One and Danger Ranger were definitely there most of the day.

SuXena and I had a great time! There were so many wonderful people, the weather was excellent, the vibe was positive and wow, the beautiful art installations. What about the string tunnel!? Fellow Lamplighters gathered in the park for a pot luck, we tripped around, participated and enjoyed many a performance. The Yard Dogs we especially fun.
