The pilot aplomb is standard issue.
There's a marvelous video of pilot training, and in one screen you can see that the pilot passed out in a turn.

The trainer watches as the plane slowly drifts downward at high speed.
Every so often he calmly reminds the pilot to "Check your horizon."
After a very long time he realizes what is going on as the plane drifts toward vertical.
"Fuck!"
and takes over.

Ah yes Gyre, it is interesting that that world is now entering my daily thoughts. After I attempted learning about how to ( CO-pilot ) learn a sweet cessna 210 and of course as a genuine Sparkleponie can just marvel at the views , this really big stuff is more than fearing a drivers test .
Is it too late to get some of the testosterone spray ?

Flying is really very different from driving, and you're dealing with three dimensions too.
My friend said that I was the first person to fly with him that he thought was suited to flying, so maybe that will make you feel better?
He was doing landing and takeoff practices and he says most people will panic.
The theory is very different too, and you need to be familiar with all that.
I started at six with a book, fascinated.
My friend laughed at this, but checked me out and it all stuck with me.
Just a small plane, not like a mig or anything.

If you really want to do it, keep at it.
It takes time.
You can improve your driving skills too, if you want.

I've offered to teach some of my relative's kids emergency techniques, and the parents are usually supportive.
None of the kids are interested.
There seems to be little interest in driving at all.
Some of them have been in crashes since then.

my issue is visual distortion as well as lack of T excess of E .waited for time to alter chemistry did not help just distorted
my friend with the small plane needed back-up I thought but I really am a pussy in weather

It's wise to stay out of planes in bad weather.
I applied for fighter training, but eyesight wasn't good enough.
We have had a number of pilots in the family.
I'd still like to do it.

Simon, I want to fly a fully armed fighter well.
A light grumman is not challenging, especially with full instrumentation.
Back to your apocalypse.
